Arthur Armstrong Bezanson was born on 24 May 1894.1 It is not clear from Bezansons from Nova Scotia why Arthur's surname was Bezanson, and not Smith.1 He married Eliza Frances Fleet on 15 October 1947. He was 53. She was 61.2 Arthur Armstrong Bezanson died on 31 July 1970 at age 76.1,3 He was buried in St. James Cemetery, New Chester, Nova Scotia.3

Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2 pm. Monday, October 29, in St. Mark'S Anglican Church, Russell Street, Halifax, Canon Sue Moxley officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Necum Teuch, Halifax.5
Born in New Chester, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late John Duncan and Alice May (Croft) Bezanson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; infant daughter, Hazel; step-daughter, Lillian Wilson.
She is survived by daughter, Florence, Toronto, Ont; Carol (John), MacInnis, Indian Harbour, Halifax Co: son, Kenneth, at home; stepdaughter, Olive Flowersmith, Peterborough, Ont; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Clara Croft, Dartmouth; Ethel (Bill) Mosher and Freda (Tam) Sharpe, both of Moser River; brother, Percy (Ernesta), New Chester; many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by sisters, Margaret, Myrtle, Florence, Annie and Jean; brothers, Wallace, Chesley and Melvin. She was a long-time member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Halifax.
