She was a member of the auxiliary of Liscomb Legion, Branch 86.

She is survived by her husband Bernard, three daughters, Diane (Mrs. Gerald Smith), Gaetz Brook; Linda, Lake Echo; Darlene (Mrs. John Burgoyne), Jeddore; six sons, Douglas, Vancouver; Eldon, Ostrea Lake; Raymond, Bedford; Grant, Dartmouth; Gary, Porters Lake; Lawrence, Little Liscomb; six sisters, Mary Mason and Jean, both of Halifax; Ethel (Mrs. William Moser) and Freda (Mrs. Clarence Sharpe), both of Moser River; Annie Oickle, Spanish Ship Bay; Clara Croft, Dartmouth; two brothers, Percy, New Chester; Chesley, Bridgewater; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret and Florence; a brother Wallace.

The body is at Veinotte's Funeral Home, Sherbrooke. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sherbrooke, Rev. Hugh V. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Stillwater.6

MOSER, Earl Cyril — 91, Moser River, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009, in Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home, Sheet Harbour.

Born in Moser River on September 18, 1918, he was a son of the late William and Melissa (Bezanson) Moser. Earl was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a Second World War veteran, serving with the Halifax Rifles. Earl worked many years with Chisholm Construction building roads in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing crib and solitaire, and gardening.

Survived by daughters, Faye (Frank) Holland, Moncton, N.B; Joan (Cory) Fiander, Fall River; grandchildren, Darcy (Kaori), Michael (Wendy), Jillian (Justin); brother- in-law, Bill Smith.

He was predeceased by wife, Helen; brothers, Rueben, Crandell, John; sisters, Elizabeth Scrivens, Bertha Smith, Hilda Watt and Doris Smith.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of D. S. Crowell and Son Funeral Home. Graveside committal service will be held Saturday, November 21, at 2 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Moser River, Verna Dunlop officiating.1
