William Angus Bezanson, 85, died Monday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Liscomb, Guysborough County, he was the son of the late Herbert and Hannah Bezanson. He resided most of his life in Moser's River. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church and past grand of Armistice Lodge 138 IOOF.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Jennetta Naugler, are two daughters, Maude (Mrs. Roland Lightfoot) Kentville; Mary (Mrs. C. E. Lowe) Dartmouth; two sons, Blair, Moser's River, Norman, Edmonton; sisters, Bessie (Mrs. William Hartling), Harrigan Cove; Agnes (Mrs. Murray Naugler) and Edna (Mrs. Marshall Naugler), both of Sheet Harbor; Nettie, Dartmouth; Nina (Mrs. Murray MacDonald), Lower Sackville; five brothers, Burton, George and Robert, all of Moser's River; John, New Glasgow; and Ernest, Halifax. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body will be at St. Andrew's United Church where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will in be in Riverside cemetery.8

Born June 19, 1925, at Moser River, she was a daughter of the late James Burton and Amy Victoria (Pace) Bezanson. She retired in 1990 from Moirs Ltd. after 21 years as a packer. She was once owner and operator of a restaurant in Sheet Harbour. She enjoyed bingo and was a past member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Watt Section.
Surviving are her husband, Aubrey; son, Barry, Dartmouth; sisters, Pearl (Mrs. Gerald Kenney), Grace (Mrs. Ralph Fisher), Lillian (Mrs. Alex Holman), Sheet Harbour; brother, Russell, Sheet Harbour; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Holman.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Crowell's Funeral Home, Sheet Harbour. Funeral 3:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Watt Section, Rev. John Leddicote officiating. Burial in church cemetery.1

HOLMAN, Lillian Mary - 87, Sheet Harbour, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital.
Born April 27, 1921, in Moser River, she was a daughter of the late James and Amy (Pace) Bezanson. Lillian was employed at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed knitting, puzzle books, gardening and spending time with her family, and until the last few years, going to bingo and card parties. Lillian was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church and Guild, Watt Section.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by sons, Cyril (Joan), Carl (Joan), both of Dartmouth; Eugene (Patsy), Leonard (Karen), both of Sheet Harbour; daughter, Annie (Max) White, Porter's Lake; brother, Russell (Violet), Quoddy; sister, Grace Fisher, Halifax; grandchildren, Erika, Carl Jr., Susan, Scott, Pamela, Chantelle, Crystal, Nicole, Adam, Beverly and Amy; great-grandchildren, Kaya, Lauren, Jenna, Taylor, Emily, Nickolas, Benjamin, Dale, Julia, Jordan, Olivia, Avery, Isabella and Sophie.
