She is survived by a sister, Gladys Vermette, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lawrence, Ernest and Marjorie (Bertrand) Weaver and Elsie Detlef.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Warren Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Wilbur Avenue, Swansea.

Ellen J. (Weaver) Loring-Guarniere, 85, formerly of Warren, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Elderwood of Scallop Shell Nursing Home in Wakefield, RI. She was the wife of the late Frank P. Guarniere, Jr. and the late Roger E. Loring.
Born in Providence she had been a long-time resident of Bristol, living on the 4th of July Parade route for most of her life where she never missed a parade. She lived in Warren for the past 17 years, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Rose (Lynch) Weaver.
She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1955. She worked as a legal secretary for many years before retiring in 2000. She loved interior decorating, collecting antiques, ballroom dancing, crossword puzzles and traveling to Italy and Mexico. Mrs. Loring-Guarniere will be remembered for her friendly outgoing personality, her ability to liven up a gathering and her sense of humor.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Loring) McCarron and her husband, Donald McCarron of Narragansett, her grandson, Collin McCarron of Narragansett, her stepchildren Donna Lee Cambio and her husband Gregory of Johnston, Lucille Santos and her husband Joseph of Somerset, MA, and Michael Guarniere and his wife Marcia of New Hampshire. Ellen also leaves a niece and a nephew, 8 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick L. Weaver and a step granddaughter, Stella N. Guarniere.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, May 14th at 10 am in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully submitted.2
Born in Providence she had been a long-time resident of Bristol, living on the 4th of July Parade route for most of her life where she never missed a parade. She lived in Warren for the past 17 years, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Rose (Lynch) Weaver.
She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1955. She worked as a legal secretary for many years before retiring in 2000. She loved interior decorating, collecting antiques, ballroom dancing, crossword puzzles and traveling to Italy and Mexico. Mrs. Loring-Guarniere will be remembered for her friendly outgoing personality, her ability to liven up a gathering and her sense of humor.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Loring) McCarron and her husband, Donald McCarron of Narragansett, her grandson, Collin McCarron of Narragansett, her stepchildren Donna Lee Cambio and her husband Gregory of Johnston, Lucille Santos and her husband Joseph of Somerset, MA, and Michael Guarniere and his wife Marcia of New Hampshire. Ellen also leaves a niece and a nephew, 8 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick L. Weaver and a step granddaughter, Stella N. Guarniere.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, May 14th at 10 am in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully submitted.2

Mr. Frederick L. Weaver, age 77 of Bristol and formerly of Warren, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Kenneth Naugler was born on 29 June 1920 at Moser River, Nova Scotia.2,1 He appeared on the census of 1921 at Moser River, Nova Scotia, in the household of Richard Naugler and Mary Olive Smith with LLoyd Naugler, Murray Naugler and Melissa Agnes Bezanson.1 Kenneth Naugler married Joyce Turner circa 1948.3 Kenneth Naugler died on 18 April 2022 at Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, at age 101.2

Murray Kenneth “Kennie” NAUGLER
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, and the oldest resident of Moser River died peacefully Monday April 18, 2022, in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour at the age of 101. Born June 29, 1920 in Moser River, he was a son of the late Murray and Agnes (Bezanson) Naugler.
Kennie worked in forestry most of his life, retiring from the Nova Scotia Department of Lands & Forests in 1984. He loved to work in his gardens and cut firewood for his home. Kennie enjoyed fly-fishing for salmon and trout as well as hunting. Above all Kennie will be remembered for his deep and abiding faith in God and for his unwavering love for his family and friends.
Survived by his wife of 74 years, Joyce (Turner); children, Sharon (Pierre), Gauthier, Uxbridge Ont; June Senay, Dartmouth; Carl (Debbie), Moser River; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Keizer, Julie (Irvin) Wells, Alma Schaffenburg; brother, Herbert; brother-in-law, Martin MacMillan; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by son, Murray; sisters, Nina (Bill) Smith, Hannah (Leonard) Mills and Alice MacMillan.
He was loved, admired and respected by all the family, friends and everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held Saturday April 23rd, from 2-4 p.m. in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Hwy. 7, Sheet Harbour, the family is requesting that masks be worn. Funeral service will be held Sunday April 24th, at 2:30 p.m. in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Moser River.
