Kempton Bradford Bezanson was also known as Bradford Kempton Bezanson.3 He was born on 22 April 1881 at Port Williams, Nova Scotia.1,3,4 He married Kathleen Blanche Blenkhorn on 4 November 1909 at Look Off, Kings County, Nova Scotia. He was 28. She was 20.3,5,6 Kempton Bradford Bezanson was a farmer at Port Williams, Nova Scotia, at the time of his marriage.5 He was an heir to the estate of John David Bezanson.7 A quote from the "Glancing Over Nova Scotia" article in the Halifax Herald, 12 October 1921, may refer to him: "The moose hunters are hastening to the forest. Parnell Gaetz and Kempton Bezanson left Port Williams at 2:30 a.m. Monday, and picked up Gordon Meister about 8 a.m."8 A quote from the "Glancing Over Nova Scotia" article in the Halifax Herald, 19 October 1921, may refer to him: "New Ross, Oct 18 – Seymour Gates autoed with Kempton Bezanson to Windsor Saturday."8 Kempton Bradford Bezanson died in 1973.3,4 He was buried in Jawbone Corner Cemetery, Canard, Nova Scotia.4

Willard Ewart Bezanson was also known as Willard Ewoirth Bezanson.2 He was born on 6 October 1886 at Nova Scotia.3,1,4 He married Olive Saunders on 2 September 1916. He was 29.5,1 Willard Ewart Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 5 June 1917 while living at Richmond, California.2 He was an heir to the estate of John David Bezanson.6 A quote from the "Glancing Over Nova Scotia" article in the Halifax Herald, 10 October 1921, "Willard Bezanson and Parnell Gates, Port William, motored thru Wednesday", may refer to Willard Ewart Bezanson, with Parnell Gates presumably a cousin via Willard's mother, Harriett Ann Gates.7 A quote from the "Glancing Over Nova Scotia" article in the Halifax Herald, 19 October 1921, may refer to him: "Willard Bezanson, of Port Williams, has bought up about 500 barrels of apples in this vicinity. He spent 13 years in California in the railroad business. At one time he worked in a place with the temperature 110 degrees. He thinks the Nova Scotia climate is more healthy."8 According to a newspaper item, Olive Saunders sought a divorce from Willard Ewart Bezanson in June 1923 charging failure to provide and cruelty.9 He died on 13 June 1943 at Port Williams, Nova Scotia, at age 56.10,1,4 Willard was listed as single on his death certificate.10 He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville, Nova Scotia.4,10

Williams, Nova Scotia. She was 29.4 Margaret Pearl Bezanson died on 16 August 1987 at Wolfville, Nova Scotia, at age 95.1,5 She was buried in Jawbone Corner Cemetery, Canard, Nova Scotia.5

BEZANSON, Etta Blanche - 99, Port Williams, Kings County, died February 18, 1994, in Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital, Wolfville.
Born in Port Williams, she was a daughter of the late John and Harriett (Gates) Bezanson. She was a dental assistant in Lynn, Mass. for 40 years, first for Dr. Murdock C. Smith and later for Dr. Chenvert. In 1963, at the age of 69, she retired and returned to the family homestead in Port Williams, deciding to make a home for her brothers and sisters. She corresponded regularly to a hugh number of people in Canada and the United States. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Hilda Bezanson-Ivers, Port Williams and Brewer, Me; eight nephews, Ken and Carl Bezanson, both of Port Williams; Charlie Bezanson, Lockhartville; Earl, George, Curtis and Lloyd Manuel, William Rooney; ten nieces, Betty Weir, Port Williams; Reta Pick, Kentville; Vivian Schofield, Florida and Vermont; Dorothy (Manuel) Weagle, Phyllis (Manuel) Cox, Etta (Rooney) Carisse, Marjorie Weaver, Evelyn Casteen, Gladys Vermette, Elsie Detleft, all of Rhode Island; niece-in-law, Helen Rooney, Canning; foster sister, Pauline Dodge, New Minas; cousin, Irene (Gates) Hunt, Watertown, Mass.
She was predeceased by four sisters, Reta, Margaret, Inez, Melissa (Lizzie); six brothers, Willard, Kempton, Robie, Percy, Roy, Avery; foster brother, Ivan; four nephews, Donald and Bob Manuel, Burnell Rooney, Lawrence Weaver.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Home, Kentville and 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday at her home in Port Williams. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Port Williams Baptist Church, Rev. Donald Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Canard Corner (Jawbone Corner) Cemetery.7

Roy Archibald Bezanson was born on 17 December 1896 at Nova Scotia.2,1,3 He volunteered for the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 18 March 1916 at Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He was described as 5ft 4in tall with brown eyes and brown hair. His application was approved 18 March 1916.4 He was an heir to the estate of John David Bezanson.5 Roy Archibald Bezanson may have been the "R. A. Bezanson" who was described as being gassed as part of the casualties report in the on 2 October 1918 at The Register, Berwick, Nova Scotia.6 He died in 1926.1,3 He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville, Nova Scotia.3
