Norman Grant Bezanson was born on 20 September 1929.1 He married Marie Dalrymple circa 1953.3,2 Norman Grant Bezanson lived in Edmonton, Alberta.2 He died in February 2022 at age 92.1

I am sad to report the death of my uncle, Norman Grant Bezanson, last week in Edmonton. Born 20 Sept 1929, he was the last surviving member of the family of William A. and Jennetta Belle (Naugler) Bezanson. He lost his wife, Marie, in 2015 as well as two adopted sons, Ellis in 2004 and Karl in 2018. He is survived by his daughter Donna, son Robert (Armando), and granddaughter Sara.
We were so happy to be part of his 90th birthday celebration along with Donna, Sara, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives during his visit to Nova Scotia in 2019.
Uncle Norman was active in the labor movement, both in Nova Scotia and Alberta throughout his working life and in retirement was an active member of Alberta Council on Aging.1
We were so happy to be part of his 90th birthday celebration along with Donna, Sara, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives during his visit to Nova Scotia in 2019.

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Marie on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 84 years.
She will always be remembered by her loving family, husband of almost 63 years, Norman; three children, Donna, Robert (Armando) and Karl; six grandchildren, Sara, Kya, Celeste, Noah, Samuel and Hope; as well as extended family and friends.
Marie was predeceased by her son, Ellis; three brothers, Edward "Ted," Lowell "Frank" and Robert.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.2

Age 91 of Lanesville. The family of Janet Andrews sadly announces her peaceful passing in the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on October 28, 2018. Born in Harrigan Cove on April 13, 1927, she was the youngest daughter of the late William and Bessie (Bezanson) Hartling.
Mom was a teacher in her younger years, having taught in the one-room schools in Sambro and Ketch Harbour. Moving to Lanesville after marrying our Dad, she lovingly raised the four of us, watched her grandchildren grow to become responsible young adults, and took absolute joy in seeing her great- grandchildren. Mom was a loving mother grandmother, greatgrandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Richard) Sibley, Wittenburg; Leonard (Patsy), Dartmouth; Ronnie (Jackie), Stewiacke; Vicki (Peter) Sutherland, Lanesville; grandchildren, Anita (Kirk), Calgary, Alta; Kirk (Tanya), Upper Musquodoboit; Jason (Cody), Coldbrook; Tanya (Amanda), Antigonish; Melissa (Chris), Montreal, Que; Nick (Jen), Coteau-du-Lac, Que; Buddy, Truro; Shane (Brittany), Upper Onslow; BJ (Kera), Indiana; Brandi, Calgary, Alta; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Savanah, Oliver, Elena, Camden, Isaac and Christopher; brother Bill, Kingston, Ont; sisterin- law, Evie, Blackville, N.B; many much- loved nieces and nephews.
