QUINCY -- Olive Irene (Bezanson) Kempton, 98, a retired private duty nurse, died Saturday at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth following a short ilness. A native of New Ross, Nova Scotia, Mrs. Kempton was a private duty nurse and home health care worker for many years. She moved to the Boston area as a young adult. She lived at the Fenno House elderly housing complex for more than 25 years and moved to the nursing home in Weymouth two weeks ago.
She is survived by her nephew, Norman Hawes of Weymouth; two cousins and many nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia.
A funeral service was held Wednesday morning at the Wollaston Chapel of Deware Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.9

He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Boylan; three sons, Peter and Alan, both of New Ross, and David, Halifax; two daughters, Kim (Mrs. William Schleich), and Joan, both of New Ross; two brothers, Roy and Marshall, New Ross; a sister, Pauline Patterson, Aylesford; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body rested in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, New Ross. Funeral was held Sept. 19 in St. Patrick's Church, Re. Ken Robertson officiating, with burial in New Ross Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.3

He worked as a woodsman in New Ross all of his life. He loved the outdoors as well as hunting and fishing.
Roy is survived by his brother, Marshall Reeves of New Ross.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Donald; and sister, Pauline.

She is survived by daughter, Jocelyn (Steve) MacGlennon, Aylesford East; son, Greg (Peggy) Patterson, Kingston; brothers, Marshall Reeves and Roy Reeves, both of New Ross; grandchildren, Amy Hiltz, Greenwood; Tracy (Dave) Kourie, North Carolina; Nick Patterson, Halifax; great-grandchild, Danielle Lourie and step great-grandchildren, Phillip, Niki, and Brandon Kourie, all of North Carolina.
