Norman A. Keddy, 86, of South Berwich died following a car-pedestrian accident near his home Wednesday.
Born in New Ross, he was the son of the late Alexander and Mary (Hiltz) Keddy. He attended school at New Ross and worked at coopering in the New Ross area before moving to the Valley in 1930. Mr. Keddy lived in Berwick for a number of years working with M.W. Graves and Co. Ltd. He was a member of Christ Church, Berwick.
Surviving are two sons, Malcolm, Millville, and Port Credit, Ont; Kenneth, Canning; two daughter, Thelma (Mrs. Frank Foot), Brooklyn, Queens County; Eileen (Mrs. Stanley Melski), Sudbury, Ont; a sister, Alice (Mrs. Owen Hiltz), New Ross; and two brothers, Lindsay and Jeff, New Ross. The body is at the H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. M. J. Finlay officiating. Interment will be in Berwick Cemetery.
