     Rosalie Jean Keddy was born on 26 November 1925 at Lake Ramsay, Nova Scotia.1 She married Irvin Isaiah Keddy in 1946.1 Rosalie Jean Keddy died on 22 September 1963 at Victoria General Hospital, New Ross, Nova Scotia, at age 37.1

     Obituary:
Mrs. Rosalie Jean Keddy, wife of Irvin Keddy, Lake Ramsay, died at the Victoria General Hospital, Sunday morning following a cerebral hemmorrhage.

Born at Lake Ramsay, 37 years ago, she was a daughter of Emerson and Mary (Turner) Keddy. After completing her schooling at lake Ramsay, she married Irvin Keddy in 1946. She was a member of Christ Church, Anglican, New Ross.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two sons, Chesley and Jarvis; three daughters, Hilda, Linda and Janis, all at home; two brothers, Reuben and henry, Lake Ramsay; five sisters, Gladys (Mrs. Theodore Crocker), Middleton, Goldie (Mrs. Wilfred Burns), Nictaux Falls, Velma (Mrs. Calvin MacDearmid) Middleton, Vera (Mrs. Clayton Keddy), Lake Ramsay, Effie (Mrs. Ernest Connors) Lake Ramsay. Boday is resting at the H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Kentville, and will be taken to Christ Church, New Ross for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. R. Mowry will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in New Ross.1

He was 24.2 William Elijah Bezanson and Kathleen Ella Leopold were divorced.2 William Elijah Bezanson married Linda Keddy circa 1972.3 William Elijah Bezanson died on 23 May 2025 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, Nova Scotia, at age 88.3

Willie "Bill" Elijah Bezanson, 88, of Aaldersville, NS, loving husband of Linda (Keddy) Bezanson, passed away surrounded by his family on May 23, 2025 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Aaldersville, Lunenburg County, on December 25, 1936. He was the son of the late Edgar and Wilhelmina (Hiltz) Bezanson. Bill was a loving and kind man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was employed at Acadia University for 18 years until making the decision to work for himself. Bill followed his passion for the outdoors and to working in the woods, supplying firewood and attending to his multiple Christmas Tree lots (cutting and shearing Christmas Trees). Once Linda retired, she was always by his side, working together in the woods or enjoying tractor rides. Bill also enjoyed camping and playing cards. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Linda Keddy; one daughter, Geraldine (Craig) Stevens of New Minas; one son, Jeff (Nicole) Legge of Cambridge; sister, Elsie (Marshall) Roast of North Alton; grandchildren, Murray (Katrina) Legge of Coldbrook; Terry Legge of Calgary AB; Tara Legge of Ottawa and Katelyn (Randy) Lavers, Bishopville; great grandchildren, Natalie and Morgan Legge. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Violet, Lyda and Alma; brothers, Roy and Lloyd.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Dawn-Lea Greer officiating. A reception will follow the service; all are invited to share in fellowship and refreshments. For any unable to attend in person, a video webcast will be available. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of Medical A – Valley Regional Hospital for the care, kindness, compassion and tremendous support provided for Bill. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.3

She was 15.1 James Alfred Keddy and Martha Emeline Veinot appeared on the census of 1921 at New Ross, Nova Scotia, with Ralph Edwin Bezanson.2 James Alfred Keddy died in 1928.1
