ROBINSON, Kenneth Charles - 91, Bridgetown, died July 27, 1996, at home.
Born in Bridgetown, he was a son of the late George and Clara (Chesley) Robinson. He was production manager for 7-Up in Bridgetown for 28 years. In 1949, he moved to Brantford, Ont., where for six months he was employed with Massey Ferguson. He then worked with the Norton Co. where he was a millwright for 21 years. Upon retirement, he returned to Nova Scotia where he worked with Morris Wright Building Contractors. He was a member of Bridgetown United Baptist Church and the Baptist church in Brantford and Clementsport. He was a deacon in all three churches and an honorary deacon of Bridgetown United Baptist Church. He sang in four male choirs, one being the Dr. Stone Male Choir in Bridgetown. While in Brantford he sang with the church choir and male choir. He played hockey with the original Bridgetown Hawks hockey team. He later refereed in the Central Valley Hockey League. He was very supportive of high school hockey in the Bridgetown area and refereed high school games. He also took a keen interest in many other sports.
Surviving are his wife, the former Myrtle Mae Bezanson; son, James, Round Hill, Annapolis Co; daughter, Olive Crisp, Burlington, Ont; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by son, Kenneth Jr; brothers, Charlie, Albert; sisters, May, Bessie.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert L. Hall Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bridgetown United Baptist Church, Rev. George Neily officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.

White, Winnifred Elfleda - Tremont, died August 18, 1999, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Brickton, she was a daughter of the late David W. and Harriett (Wentzell) Bezanson. She was dearly loved by family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Torbrook United Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Rosamond W. Snider (Donald), Greenwood; Leotia “Lee” Gertridge, Tremont; sons, Richard (Lilla) and Allan, both of Tremont; sisters, Myrtle Robinson, Bridgetown; Alice White and Kathleen Crispe, both of Brickton; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband, Everett; daughter, Constance Pauline; sisters, Mary, Hannah. Susan; brothers, Paul, Vernon, Percy, Archie and Gordon.
Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral service 3 p.m. Saturday in Torbrook United Baptist Church, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Burial in Tremont Cemetery.
