GRIDLEY, Kathleen (Kay) Whitman - 62, Middleton, Annapolis County, died September 6, 1992, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
Born in South Williamston, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Blanche (Whitman) Bezanson, Lawrencetown, Annapolis County, and the late Harold (Ted) Bezanson. She was a teacher in the Middleton area elementary schools, retiring in 1986.
She is survived by a sister, Betty (Mrs. Joe Bent), Brooklyn, Annapolis County; three nieces; nine nephews; several grand-nieces and grandnephews.
The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, Dr. Philip Griffin-Allwood officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.1

BARKHOUSE, Melissa Gayle - 16, East Dalhousie, Kings County, died October 9, 1992, in Barss Corners, Lunenburg County, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Jason Barkhouse. She was a grade 10 student at West Kings District High School and was an adherent of St. Cyprians Anglican Church, East Dalhousie.
She is survived by her paternal grandmother, Beulah (Bezanson) Barkhouse, East Dalhousie; maternal grandmother, Shirley (Acker) Bezanson, Ontario; paternal greatgrandmother, Hazel Bezanson, East Dalhousie.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wade; paternal grandfather, Murray Barkhouse; maternal grandfather, Clayton Bezanson.
The body is in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Cyprians Anglican Church, Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. Donations may be made to Izaak Walton Killam Children's Hospital.1

The community of Dalhousie was shocked and deeply saddened on Saturday, November 11, 1972, to learn of the sudden death of Wade Jason, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Barkhouse.
Wade was admitted to the W.K.M. Hospital, Berwick early that morning and at noon the sad news came that he had passed away.
Wade was born April 1, 1972. He was a very dear baby. His pleasant disposition and happy smile won the hearts of everyone who knew him. Wade was dearly cherished by his family.
Wade leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, grandparents, Grandad and Grandmum Barkhouse, Grandma Bezanson, Grandfather Bezanson, several great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service was held from St. Cyprian's Anglican Church on Tuesday, November 1, at 2 o'clock. The service was conducted by the Rev. Calvin Pretty. Pall bearers were Blair Bezanson, Lloyd, Albert E., and James Oickle. Interment was in St. Cyprian's Church Cemetery.3
