Georgina Faye Bennett – 61, of Halifax NS, passed away in her home, on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Cecil Bennett and Laura Davidson.

For many years, she was employed with Gilbert Allen in Centreville, where she loved cultivating strawberry plants and berry picking all summer. Georgina, being quite social, was often found to be in trouble for chatting with her friends while she was working. She also co-owned a cleaning company contracted by Dofasco in Ontario for many years until she retired and moved to Halifax. During her last eight years she stayed single, sober and dedicated her time and love to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her four daughters, Elaine Fasoulas, Amanda (Mark) Riley, Starr Starrett and Nicole MacKinnon; grandchildren, Cody, Tristan, Logan, Justice, Jensen, Conner, Richie, Joshua, Jilly and Abby; one great granddaughter, Kaydence; siblings, Mike (Linda) Bezanson, David Best, Weldon (Betty) Best, Gerald "Duke" (Melissa) Davidson Jr., Koren (George) Butler, Karen (Russell) Spencer and Cathy (Ronnie) Bennett; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Patsy Keating.

Visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018, Reverend Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.1

It is with broken hearts, yet appreciation for a life-well lived, that the family of Karen Lynn (Davidson) Spencer, age 57, of Kentville, announce her peaceful passing at home after a double lung transplant rejection, on Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born in Kentville to the late Laura Minnie Bezanson and Gerald Davidson Sr.

Karen worked in retail, as a medical office assistant and as a CCA for Evergreen and Shannex Nursing Homes, a job at which she excelled and was loved by her clients and co-workers. She enjoyed country music and was a majorette in her earlier years. She was also a member of the 2444 RCAC Army Cadets, Aldershot, as a young girl. Karen loved shopping, especially at Giant Tiger and online; Amazon and Temu were her favourites. Karen was the comedian of the family, making every gathering special and fun. She loved everything to do with Christmas, getting together with her family and friends, playing washer toss and spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren and fur babies. Above all, she was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be so dearly missed.

Karen is survived by her husband of 37 years, Russell Spencer; sons, Nicholas (Carrie) Davidson, New Minas; and Russell Spencer Jr. (Hayley Fitzgerald), Kentville; twin sister and best friend, Koren Davidson, Greenwich; sister, Cathy Bennett (Ronald Beach), English Mountain; brothers, David Best (Tina Boutilier), Chester, and Gerald "Duke" Davidson Jr., (Diane Thompson), Kentville; loving mother-in-law, Hilda Spencer, New Minas; sisters-in-law, Linda Bezanson, Fredericton, NB; and Betty Best, Casey Corner; grandchildren, Maddison Smith, Hudson Smith and Aavah Fitzgerald; Goddaughter, Hannah Bennett; special aunt and mother figure, Aunt Ruby Johnstone; special cousin/sister, Sarah Davidson (Dan Almon); special nieces and nephews, Natasha (Jerry), Karla, Kenneth (Grace), Adam, Heather, Jayden, Jordan, Jahkira, Kianna, Lucas, Aaron, twins Kaylee and Kayla, Kashin, Jayden H. and Brody; fur babies, Jewelz, Tinker Bell and Zoey; as well as several Spencer brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, other nieces, nephews and extended family.

     It appears that Michael Hector Bezanson was raised by his maternal grandparents, George Roy Bezanson and Winnifred Lorraine Fraser.3 Michael Hector Bezanson was born on 31 July 1949 at Kentville, Nova Scotia.3 He married Linda (?).1 Michael Hector Bezanson died on 1 October 2021 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick, at age 72.3

The passing of Michael Hector Bezanson of Fredericton, NB occurred on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 31, 1949 in Kentville, NS, he was the son of the late Roy and Winnie Bezanson.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of fifty two years, Linda Bezanson; his son, Michael Bezanson Jr. (Joyce) and daughter, Tabatha Bezanson. Michael was blessed with two very beautiful grandchildren whom he cherished, Jacob and Carly McFarlane, and held a special place in his heart for David, Alex, Jeffrey, George and Nancy Ryan. Michael is also survived by his brothers, David Best (Tina), Weldon Best (Betty) and Duke Davidson; sisters, Cathy Bennett, Karen Spencer (Russell) and Koren Davidson. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his birth mother, Laura Bezanson and birth father, Dowd Best; sisters, Patsy and Georgie Faye; special uncle, Wade Bezanson.

Although Mike was a long haul truck driver for many years, he was best known for being an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and go on his side by side. Mike was also a well established riflemen, he became a Grand Champion and placed first in many competitions. Mike was able to pass the love of all these things down to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed each of the seasons to the fullest and loved all that nature had to offer. Later in his life, he developed a relationship with the Lord, and was proud to be Baptized. Mike loved and cherished the peace this brought to him in his final days, he felt so blessed.

Due to Covid restrictions, the family will have a private celebration of life. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.3
