Mabel Winnifred Creelman was born on 19 May 1898 at Nova Scotia.2,3 She married George Elkanah Bezanson.1 George Elkanah Bezanson and Mabel Winnifred Creelman appeared on the census of 1921 at 384 Gottingen Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, with Ralph Stanley Bezanson living at the same address as George's cousin Iva Belle Bezanson.3 Mabel Winnifred Creelman was the informant listed on the death certificate of George Elkanah Bezanson who died 17 February 1958.4,1 Mabel Winnifred Creelman died on 8 January 1997 at St. Vincent's Guest House, Halifax, Nova Scotia, at age 98.5 She was buried on 11 January 1997 in Fairview Cemetery, Chisholm Avenue, Halifax, Nova Scotia.5

Bezanson, Mabel W. - 98, Halifax, died January 8, 1997, in St. Vincent's Guest House.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ella (Hotchkiss) Creelman. She was an active worker in both St. Joseph's and St. Mary's parishes for many years.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are nieces, Margaret Zinck, Iva Whalen, Marion Radford, Halifax; nephew, Hugh Zinck, Newmarket, Ont.
She was predeceased by her husband George; son, Ralph; daughters, Muriel, Lillian; 13 brothers and sisters.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Very Rev. A.M. O'Driscoll officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.5
