Arthur Lloyd Bezanson, 45, of Vauxhall street extension, Waterford, employe of Radway's Dairy, Inc., for 18 years, died yesterday at 9 a. m. at his home after an illness of a year and a half.
A lifelong resident of Waterford, Mr. Bezanson was born Feb. 4, 1903, son of Charles S. and Sarah Rowley Bezanson.
A route man and mechanic for the dairy, he had not worked since May of this year because of ill health.
He was a charter member of Cohanzie Fire company No. 5 and Cohanzie Community club.
Bezanson leaves, besides his parents, his wife, the former Laura Edwards; two sons, Alvin and Edwin Bezanson; four brothers, Earl Clyde, Alton and William, all of Waterford, and two sisters, Mrs. Alden Mather of Waterford and Mrs. Mortimer Johnson of Chesterfield.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. at Byles Memorial home, and interment will be in Cedar Grove cemetery.6

WATERORD--Earl Jeston Bezanson, 59, a lifelong resident of Waterford, was found dead in bed yesterday morning by his wife, Gertrude.
Medical Examiner Robert Henkle said death was due to natural causes.
Mr. Bezanson, a resident of 94 Great Neck Rd, had been in good health before his death.

Waterford - Elsie B. Johnson, 92, of 22 Way Hill Road in Waterford, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at her home.
She was born on May 29, 1913 in Quaker Hill, the daughter of Charles and Sarah Rowley Bezanson.
Mrs. Johnson was married to the late Mortimer G. Johnson on June 6, 1937 in Waterford. He died on Nov. 19, 1999.
She was a graduate of the Williams Memorial Institute in New London and from 1933 to 1942, Elsie worked as a telephone operator and clerk for the former Palmer Brothers Mill.
She was a very active member of the Flanders Baptist & Community Church in East Lyme and a former member of the Lake Ponds Baptist Church in Waterford.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles E. and Barbara Johnson of Niantic, and Allan M. and Doreen Johnson of Montville; a sister, Eleanor Mather of Waterford; two grandsons, Michael and Christopher Johnson; and a great-grandson, Noah Johnson.
Besides her husband, Elsie was predeceased by her eight brothers Alton, William, Arthur, Earl, Clyde, Frank, Joseph and Walter Bezanson.
The funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 2, at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London. Burial will follow in the Jordan Cemetery in Waterford. There will be a visiting hour from 11 a.m. to noon, prior to the service.2

Niantic -- Eleanor M. (Bezanson ) Mather, 93, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Crescent Point in Niantic.
She was born August 22, 1925, attended Waterford schools and graduated from the former Williams School in 1943.
She worked as a dental assistant in the office of Avery Fitch. When her children were grown, she returned to work as a secretary in the law office of Frances McGuire. After her retirement she volunteered many hours at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Eleanor enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was an avid reader. Her real passion was the decorative painting she did for many years. Most of her family and friends have something she painted.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Lou Bisbee and husband, John, of Chesterfield, Mass; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband Alden, son Richard, and great grandson Thomas Bisbee predeceased her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Crescent Point in Niantic for their outstanding care for Eleanor during her stay.
The family will receive visitors 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at Flanders Baptist Church, 162 Boston Post Road, East Lyme until the start of the service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Waterford.
Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street, New London is assisting the family with the arrangements.2
She was born August 22, 1925, attended Waterford schools and graduated from the former Williams School in 1943.

George Kenneth Bezanson, of Hanover, formerly of Quincy, Marshfield and Duxbury, died at home on July 19, 2013 after a long period of failing health. George was the son of the late Alexander and Janet Bezanson of Quincy, brother of Doris Souza of Hanover, William and his wife Lily Bezanson of Aiken, S.C. and the late Donald Bezanson, Jean Dibella and Lena Steele.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Alberta and his sons Alex and his wife Lisa of Abington, George and his wife Marirose of Peabody. George was the father of the late Linda Harmon and the late Steven Bezanson. He is also survived by his son-in-law Lester Harmon and his wife Josie of Alton, N.H. and daughter-in-law Dr. Carolyn Kinzer-Bezanson of St. Simons Island, GA. He leaves his grandchildren Sandi Andersen of R.I., LeAnn Baldock and George Bezanson both of N.H., Christina Dunbar and her husband Jason of Attleboro, Brian Bezanson and wife Jennifer of Abington, Carrie and Anders Bezanson of St. Simons Island, GA and Kenyatta Savage and his wife Amanda of Quincy. He also leaves several great-grandchildren.
George was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He worked with his father at the Granite City Blacksmith and Petroleum Equipment Shop in Quincy and operated it for many years after his fathers death. He later managed the Duxbury Motor Inn and the Walpole Motel for many years prior to his retirement.
George was a 54 year member of Rural Lodge AF&AM in Quincy and a member and Past Worthy Patron of Quincy, Braintree and Rexhame Chapters of the Order of Eastern Star. He served as Grand Patron for the State of MA, OES in 1982. He was also a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader in North Quincy and former Dad Advisor for Wollaston Rainbow and Old Colony DeMolay in Quincy.
Visiting hours were on Tuesday, July 23, from 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Prior to visiting hours there was an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 3 p.m. all were welcomed. Funeral service was celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 24, at 10 a.m. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.2
