At her request, no services will be conducted for Dorothy D. "DeeDee" Ahman, a 30-year Sacramento resident who was active with youth scouting for many years.

Mrs. Ahman. 79, died of cancer Sunday in a local hospital.

The native of Maine moved to Sacramento about 30 years ago and devoted her time and talent to the Camp Fire Girls and Girl, Cub and Boy Scouts.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Cmdr. John C. Ahman (retired) of Sacramento; a daughter. Janet A. Kohne of Piedmont, Alameda County; brothers, Raymond and Ambrose Damon, both of Nevada; and five grandchildren.4
