BEZANSON, Stewart "Stew" - 69, Dartmouth, passed away September 29, 2003, at home.
Born in Ecum Secum, he was a son of the late Alex and Florence (Fleet) Bezanson. He was a bricklayer by trade and owned and operated Stewart Bezanson Construction Company Ltd. as well as being the business agent for BAC Local 1, Nova Scotia, for a number of years. In his spare time, he had a passion for watching wrestling.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Paulette Peskett; son, Bryan Bezanson, Toronto; daughter, Elan (Roger) Bachmann; brother, Michael; sisters, Velma Lawlor and Helen (Elmer) Fancy; special nieces and nephews, Carla, Pam, John, Tammy and Tracey.
Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday.5

Paulette Joan Bezanson, 77, of Halifax Nova Scotia, passed away on April 28, 2023 at the QEII hospital. Paulette was born on August 25, 1945 to the late Kathleen and Sidney Peskett in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was the wife of the late Stewart Bezanson, the love of her life. In her early years she worked for Spicers Nursing Home in Berwick, NS, where she met her life-long best friend Wanita Tooker and many others. Later on she was employed at Maritime Tel & Tel (MT&T) as an Operator and a Relay Operator and later transitioned to Bell Mobility. Paulette was a big supporter of the labour movement supporting her union as a strong sister and shop steward. Paulette loved hosting family gatherings, going on trips around the Maritimes, Kids, She had a great sense of humour (she loved a good laugh), crossword puzzles and the news. She also had a passion for gardening.
Paulette is survived by her son Brayn Bezanson (Karen) and her daughter Elan Bachmann as well as her only grand-daughter Emily Bachmann. She is also survived by her brothers Ken (Wyn), Ray, Mike (Roseanne) and her cousins (1st best friends in life) Alfie Burns (Linda), Dick (NoNo) Barker, Debbie (Chris) Driscoll, George Barker (Debby).
The Family would also like to give our many thanks to Sally and Dennis Blinn as well as Lynnette Surrette and Gary Thomas, for treating Paulette like family over the years, we cannot thank you enough for the love and care you gave her.
Special thank you to the 8.4 Nursing staff for their care and compassion during Paulette’s final days. It was Paulette’s wish not to have a funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

John Stuart Bezanson was born on 16 May 1931.1 He married Audrey Ann Gould on 3 February 1951. He was 19. She was 18.3,1 John Stuart Bezanson was a corporal in the U.S. Air Force in 1952 when his son Robert was born.4 He died on 25 June 2005 at age 74.5

ALTON — John Stuart Bezanson, 74, of Alton Bay, N.H., died June 25, 2005, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born May 16, 1931, in Somerville, Mass., "Buzz" was the youngest of four sons born to Roland and Mabel Bezanson.
He spent most of his summers at the Alton Bay Bible Conference Center and eventually met and married Audrey Ann Gould of Alton on Feb. 3, 1951.
At the age of 19, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for more than 20 years before retiring to Rochester, where he worked for the Rochester Post Office. Before officially retiring, he spent his winters at the Advent Christian Village of Dowling Park, Fla., and summers at Alton Bay.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Bezanson; four children, Robert Bezanson, Cindy Harper, Scott Bezanson and Keith Bezanson; six grandchildren; two surviving brothers, Donald and Arthur Bezanson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at the Alton Bay Bible Conference Center on July 4 at 10 a.m.
