Donald Gardner Bezanson was born on 20 May 1922 at Marblehead, Massachusetts.2,1 He married Barbara Louise King on 1 September 1943 at Concord, New Hampshire. He was 21. She was 21.4,1 Donald Gardner Bezanson was an usher at the marriage of Arthur Stanley Bezanson and Mary Dickinson in July 1948 at Advent Christian Church, Crouseville, Maine.1,5 Donald Gardner Bezanson was buried in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Massachusetts.6 He died on 31 May 2008 at age 86.7

Donald Bezanson of Leominster; 86
Leominster - Donald "Gard" Bezanson, 86, died in Life Care Center, Leominster after several months of failing health.
He was born on May 20, 1922 in Marblehead, MA, and was the son of Roland & Mabel (Douglass) Bezanson.
He was raised in Somerville, where he graduated from high school in 1940. He married Barbara King on Sept. 1, 1943 and they lived in MA, and then Clearwater, Florida until her death in 1989. Many of their summers were spent in Alton Bay, NH at the Christian Conference Center. The last eight years, he was living with his daughter & son-in-law in Leominster, MA and recently moved to "Manor on the Hill" in Leominster.
He is survived by family members who include a daughter, Evelyn and her husband Thomas Nowell, three grandchildren Tom Nowell, Barbara Paull, & Jennifer Parker, and 11 great-grandchildren Emily, Thomas, Nicholas, and Katherine Nowell; Susanna, Karissa, Caleb, Julianna, Micah, Kristianna, and Daniel Paull. He also leaves one brother, Arthur, of Astoria, Oregon as well as three sisters-in-law and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As were his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A private service will be held at Puritan Lawn, Lynnfield at a later date.8
