     Arthur Stanley Bezanson was born on 27 October 1928 at Massachusetts.4,5 He married Mary Dickinson in July 1948 at Advent Christian Church, Crouseville, Maine. He was 19. The ushers were Donald Gardner Bezanson. The ceremony was performed by Reverend Roland Marshall Bezanson.1,6 Arthur Stanley Bezanson died on 8 December 2012 at age 84. He died from injuries sustained in a car accident.7 He was buried in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Massachusetts.4

     Obituary from The Daily Astorian:
Mary left this earth on her journey to heaven on June 1, 2013. She wanted to be with her husband of 64 years, Arthur, who passed on December 8, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident on November 30, 2012, in Astoria. Life just wasn’t the same here without him and family believes she died of a broken heart. They leave five children. Rodney Bezanson (Darla) of Fort Meyers, Florida, Debra Little (Rick) of Boxford, Massachusetts, Beverly Russell (Eldon) of Astoria, Peggy Jolly (Ken) of Astoria and David Bezanson, also of Astoria. They also leave numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.4

LAWLOR, Arthur Albert - 69, Halifax, died April 9, 1995, in the Halifax Infirmary.

Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Lauchlin and Margaret (Dort) Lawlor. He was a longtime member of St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church. He was a veteran of the Second World War and retired from The Halifax Herald Limited after 40 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Velma Bezanson; daughters, Carla Lawlor-Newll (Mrs. Melvin Newll), Pamela, Halifax; brothers, Lewis, James, Dartmouth; sister, Laura (Mrs. J.R. Miller), Halifax; grandson, Joel.

He was predeceased by a sister, Lola Mooney; brother, Lawrence.

Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 1 p.m. Wednesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax, Rev. David Boston officiating. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.4
