She is survived by her daughters, Jean Muir, Trenton, and Isabel Cooke, Diamond; sisters, Mary Hiltz, River John; Libby Fraser, New Glasgow; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gregory was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Taylor; her second husband, Allan Gregory; sons, James, Elmer and Earl Taylor, and an infant son. She was also predeceased by brothers, George, Dave, William, Raymond and Stewart Bezanson; sister, Annie Holt and grandson, Joe Taylor.
Visitations will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Eagles Funeral Home Chapel, Westville, with Pastor Vincent Hanley officiating. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.4

Mary Jean Bezanson was born on 4 April 1910 at Dalhousie, Nova Scotia.1,2 She married Wade Martin Hiltz on 6 June 1931 at Pictou, Nova Scotia. She was 21. He was 27.4,2 Mary Jean Bezanson died on 3 May 2008 at Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, at age 98.5 She was buried on 6 May 2008 in Mountain Road Cemetery, River John, Nova Scotia.5

HILTZ (Bezanson), Mary Jean - 98, River John, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2008, in Willow Lodge, with her daughter by her side. Mary was born on April 4, 1910, in Dalhousie Mountain, and was the last surviving child of the late Daniel and Margaret (Lynds) Bezanson.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita (Kenneth) Clarke, River John; granddaughters, Kenda Gamble (Glen Breen), Edmonton, Alta; Melody (Peter) Murphy, Saint John, N.B; Leanne (Cory) Cyr, Dartmouth; great-grandchildren, Randy Gamble, India; Nile and Chloe Cyr, Agnes and Leo Murphy; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wade (1966); son, Charles (1984); sisters, Cassie Gregory, Margaret "Libby" Fraser, Annie Holt; brothers, George, William, David, Raymond, Stewart and James.
Visitation will be held today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and the funeral will take place on Tuesday, May 6, at 2 p.m., both in St. George's Presbyterian Church, River John. Interment will be in Mountain Road Cemetery.5
