Denmark - Raymond James Bezanson, 58, Denmark, Colchester County, died Monday in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born in Dalhousie Mountain, Pictou County, he was a son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Lynds) Bezanson. He spent most of his life as a sawyer.
He is survived by his common-law wife, the former Viola Brown; a son, Donald, Revelstoke, B.C; three daughters: Lynda (Mrs Norman MacKenzie), Shubenacadie; Dianne (Mrs Errol Tattrie), Tatamagouche; Wilma (Mrs Paul Langille), Balmoral; 11 grandchildren; four sisters: Cassie (Mrs Alan Gregory), Lyons Brook; Libbie (Mrs Leonard Fraser), New Glasgow; Mrs Mary Hiltz, River John; Annie (Mrs Russell Holt), West Branch.
He was predeceased by two sons: Ross and Elden; three brothers; David, Bill and George. The remains are resting in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Middleton Union Church. Interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery, Denmark.
