Stanley Oliver Bezanson was born on 12 November 1879.2 He married Rainetta Marshall circa 1904.3 Stanley Oliver Bezanson was the informant listed on the death certificate of Ephriam Alexander Bezanson who died 19 May 1906.4,5 Stanley Oliver Bezanson was a rare and used book dealer at 31 Ames Street, Boston, Massachusetts, from 1930 to 1950 (and probably other years.)6,7,8,9 Stanley Oliver Bezanson was mentioned in a news item in the Fitchburg Sentinel on 28 February 1940.10 He was mentioned again on 1 June 1940 in a similar story.11 Stanley Oliver Bezanson and Stanley Burton Bezanson were mentioned in a Fitchburg Sentinel article on 5 May 1942. The author presupposed that Stanley Oliver Bezanson was the person who was commended for his part in a rescue operation when actually it was Stanley Burton Bezanson. They are third cousins once removed, but were not known to each other.12 Stanley Oliver Bezanson was a old book seller according to the census of 1950.9 He died on 15 February 1973 at Needham, Massachusetts, at age 93.13,14,15 He was buried in Needham Cemetery, Needham, Massachusetts.16

Born in Port Williams, he was a son of the late Robert and Melinda (Bezanson) Hatt. He graduated with a Business degree from Horton Academy. He owned and operated a poultry farm in Port Williams for over forty years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Metzler; sons Jerald (Elizabeth), Calgary; Eric (Elizabeth), Sheffield Mills; Mark (Janice), Port Williams; daughter, Patricia, Fruitvale, B.C; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, Melbourne and Murray; sisters, Dorothy West and Gladys Clarke.
Visitation 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today, August 12, 2000. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, both in the H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Kentville, James Abbott and Leslie Beddoe officiating. Burial in the Jawbone Corner Cemetery.2

Henry Cornelius Bezanson was born on 9 July 1884 at Marriott's Cove, Nova Scotia.1,3,4 He moved to Rimby, Alberta.2 He married Hulda (?).1 Henry Cornelius Bezanson was drafted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 2 May 1918 at Calgary, Alberta. He was described as 5ft 9in tall with gray eyes and fair hair.1 He died on 7 August 1971 at age 87.2

WINDSOR — Native of Marriott's Cove, but resident of Bishopville, Kings, since 1913, Seymour N. Bezanson, 74, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Beckwith, Hantsport. He was a son of the late Nathaniel and Amanda (Daniel) Bezanson, Marriott's Cove. In 1913 he moved to Bishopville and operated a farm.
Surviving are his wife, former Nina Melvin, five daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Hugh Hiltz) Hantsport; Emma (Mrs. Clair Wilkins) Mount Denson; Melinda (Mrs. Reginald Crowell) Hantsport; Eva, (Mrs. Wylie Patterson) Kentville, and Hazel (Mrs. Beckwith). One brother, Henry, is in Alberta and another brother, Fred, in British Columbia. A half brother, Paul, lives at Marriott's Cove and Mrs. Haltz Giffin, Halifax and Mrs. Maud Cross, Lunenburg, are half sisters.
The body rests at Lohnes and Botten Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral service will be conducted there today at two o'clock by Rev. Owen Cochran, pastor of Falmouth Baptist Church. Interment will be made at Riverbank cemetery, Hantsport.8
