Born in Chester Basin, he was a son of the late Milford and Margaret (Gates) Bezanson. He was a member of Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin for over 50 years and was also a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He was a self-employed lumberman and farmer.

Waldo, a very devoted father and grandfather, is survived by his sons, David (Carol Olson) and Arthur (Donna Langille), both of Chester Basin; daughter, Lorna June (Jeffery) Collicutt, Canaan; grandsons, Scott, Kenny, Jeremy, James and Joel; granddaughters, Ashley and Rebecca; niece, Patsy McCauley, and nephew, Raymond Bezanson.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anna June (Frost); sister, Myrtle Banks, and brother, Foster Bezanson.

Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin, Rev. Leo Gallant officiating. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Chester Basin.2

BEZANSON, Edward Nelson - Memorial service for Edward Nelson Bezanson, 79, who died Friday, December 2, 2005, at Florida Hospital, Flagler, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 17, in Aenon Baptist Church, 57 New Ross Rd., Chester Basin. Mr. Bezanson retired as Pastor of Aenon Baptist Church and was the former Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Williamsburg, Va.

He was born in White Plains, N.Y., and moved to Bunnell, Fla., in 1999 from Nova Scotia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eloise; sons, E. Nelson Bezanson Jr. of Flagler Beach, Fla., and David Langhorne Bezanson of Bunnell, Fla.7
