KEDDY, Sylvia Jean Age 89, Halifax, died Thursday, September 12, 2019. Born in Sheet Harbour, she was a daughter of Parker and Jean (Kenney) Bezanson.
She was a nurse and served in various Hospitals in the Halifax area.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Ross (Kirk), Diane Lutwick (Gary), Sigrid Dalton (Peter); son, Clyde Redmond (Sandra); sister, Agnes Dorey; brothers, St. Clair and Carl; three stepchildren and their families; 10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Victor Redmond; second husband, Otis Keddy; brother, Aubrey; sisters, Sigrid and Bernice.
Celebration of Life Sunday, September 15th at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn United Church, Rev. Phillip Kennedy officiating. Reception to follow in Woodlawn United Church Hall. Burial will be held in Brookside.1

BEZANSON, Doreen Raymond
Age 81, Dartmouth, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Montreal, January 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (March) Yaxley.
Doreen was employed with Eatons and the Royal Bank for several years. She was a long-time member of the U.C.W. at Woodlawn United Church, Dartmouth. She always made sure that Christmas was a special time for her family.
Survived by husband, St. Clair; children, David (Marion MacDonald), Dartmouth; Michael (Madone Valcourt), Bedford; Brian (Lisa Staar), Harrietsfield; Lynn (Terence Clements), Middle Sackville; Jeffrey (Kristie Wood), Moncton; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by brother, John (Gemma Gilbert).
Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service for immediate family only will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 1st in St. James United Church Cemetery, Sheet Harbour, Rev. Marilyn Murphy officiating.1

Lynn Elizabeth Clements (Bezanson/MacLeod)
Age 53, Middle Sackville, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, July 7, 1965, she was the daughter of St. Clair and the late Doreen (Yaxley) Bezanson.
Lynn was employed as a nurse for 34 years; most of her career spent working in the Cardiac Unit 4 West at Dartmouth General Hospital and part-time at In Patient Holding Diagnostic Imaging at QEII Health Science Centre. Lynn had a passion for camping with her family both in Keji and at Highbury in the Annapolis Valley where she made many lifelong camping friends. She always looked forward to spending the last days of summer and Labour Day weekend at the cottage on Aylesford Lake. Lynn loved country music, playing crib, roses and she loved to travel, her favourite trips being a recent trip to Nashville and to the UK to visit the hometown of her loving grandmother Yaxley. Christmas was always a special time for Lynn and she enjoyed having a traditional family Christmas with her kids. Lynn also loved her ever- faithful dog Rosie Bear who never left her side. Lynn was always selfless; caring for others and putting their needs ahead of hers out of love for her family and friends.
Survived by husband, Terence; children, Natasha (Michael) Ryer, Dartmouth; Cody MacLeod (Kelly Adams), Dartmouth; step grandson, Brayden Ryer; her children's father, Dale MacLeod, Dartmouth; brothers, David (Marion) Bezanson, Dartmouth; Michael Bezanson (Madone Valcourt), Bedford; Brian Bezanson (Lisa Starr), Harrietsfield; Jeffrey (Kristie) Bezanson, Moncton, N.B; many nephews and nieces.
