Charles G. Bezanson Jr., 75, passed away on September 3, 2024, after an illness. A former resident of Quincy, Massachusetts, and previously of Hyannis and Whitman, Massachusetts, Charlie was born on January 1, 1949. His parents were Charles Bezanson Sr. and Margaret (Davis) Bezanson.
Charlie graduated from Whitman-Hanson High, Class of 1967, and went on to serve as Sergeant and Medical Platoon Leader in the US Army Reserve, stationed at Fort Polk. He spent 45 years as an insurance agent with Rogers & Gray and Brewer & Lord. Charlie proudly coached his children's basketball and baseball teams. He was an avid fan of New England sports and enjoyed country line dancing.
He was the proud dad of Sara (Bezanson) Wayman (married to Paul Wayman) of Weymouth, and Jeff Bezanson of Somerset. He was also the proud grandfather of Tabitha Bezanson, 21, USMC PFC Jarred Bezanson, 19, and Henry Wayman, 14. He was a brother to Kathleen (married to Chuck Lynch) and Brian (married to Loni Bezanson). He was married to the late Linda R. Bezanson for 20 years. Linda's children, Kristin Becker, (married to Marc Becker and mother of Ethan and Ashley), and Brian Sullivan. Charlie was previously married to Maureen (Dowd) Pistorio of Rockland.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Monday September 9, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
We are grateful for the care provided by the Pat Roche Hospice House.3

Linda R. (Yuoska) Bezanson, 73, of Hyannis, MA passed away at Cape Cod Hospital on Saturday, May 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born in Worcester, MA the daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth (Martisius) Yuoska. She is a graduate of Marlborough High School (1968) and Emmanuel College (1972). She raised her family in Plymouth, MA and has lived on Cape Cod for over 20 years. Linda worked as a medical receptionist for many years and retired in 2020.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles G. Bezanson of Hyannis, her daughter Kristen Becker and her husband Marc and their children Ethan and Ashley of Belmont, her son Brian Sullivan of Wakefield, stepchildren Sara Wayman and her son Henry of Weymouth and Jeff Bezanson of Somerset and his two children Tabitha and Jared. She is also survived by her brother Michael Yuoska and his wife. Natalie of Hudson NH, her sister Caroline Wilczynski and her husband Michael of Ashburnham, her nieces, Erin, Kate, and Anya as well as many cousins.
Linda had a deep passion for her family and friends. She lived for family celebrations and was well known for baking delicious cookies for holidays and playing games with her grandchildren. She loved going to the beach, especially in Plymouth and Cape Cod. You would often find her going to Kalmus beach to read a book on her lunch break from work. Linda was a kind and generous person, the first to help out family or friends when they needed it.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 9-11 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am in the Short and Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in the family lot in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Beach St., Marlborough, MA.
A celebration of Linda’s life will also be held on Thursday, July 27th at Pinebrook condominiums clubhouse in Hyannis MA from 4 -7 pm.1

Haverhill, MA: Wanda L. (Bezanson) McCarthy, 60, of Haverhill, died on September 17, 2014 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Haverhill and raised and educated in Plaistow, NH, daughter of Charles "Buzzie" Bezanson and the late June (Schenks) Bezanson, she attended the Pollard School and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 1972.
Mrs. McCarthy was employed most recently as a bookkeeper for McCarthy Transportation. She had also been employed as a teller and head bookkeeper at Plaistow Cooperative Bank for ten years.
She enjoyed sewing and crafts and was the operator of B.T.M Consignment Shop in Haverhill. An avid bowler in her younger years, Mrs. McCarthy also enjoyed horseback riding as a child.
Wanda's true passion was stock car racing, both as a driver and spectator. She was the backbone and most loyal supporter of the family racing legacy, McCarthy Motor Sports. She enjoyed cheering on their car #30 and #64 at races at Star Speedway, Lee Raceway, Hudson Speedway, Pines Speedway, and Monadnock Speedway.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, William E. McCarthy, her father, Charles "Buzzie" Bezanson of Lake Havasu City, AZ, her son, William J. McCarthy of Methuen, MA, two daughters, Terri L. (Peabody) Chase and her husband Jason Chase of Raymond, NH, and Melinda J. McCarthy of Haverhill, four brothers, Charles R. "Buzzie" Bezanson of Plaistow, Dan D. Bezanson of Plaistow, Rick Bezanson of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Russell Bezanson of Berthoud, CO, four grandchildren, Tyler Chase, Alexa Chase, Aubrianna Chase, and Alyvia Chase, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Myrtle June Bezanson, 75, passed away Sunday in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Ralph and May (McVea) Schencks Oct. 31, 1933, in Haverhill, Mass.
June, as she was known to her family and friends, married her teenage sweetheart, Charles “Buzzy” Bezanson April 18, 1953. Together, with her family, they relocated to Lake Havasu City because of her love for the heat. She was a member of the London Bridge Square Dancers Club and had a passion for horses.
June was a great and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the glue that kept the family together.
June leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Charles Bezanson, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Charles (Sue) Bezanson and Dan (Kelly) Bezanson, both of Plaistow, N.H., Rick (Diane) Bezanson, of Lake Havasu City, and Russell Bezanson, of Berthoud, Colo; daughter Wanda (Bill) McCarthy, of Haverhill, Mass; 12 grandchildren, Terri, Bill, Melinda, Jamie, Melissa, Randy, Jackie, Brian, Brad, Courtney, Tanya and Taylor; and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will take place today 6-8 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be on Thursday, 11 a.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Mike Moorhead. Services and interment will take place in Plaistow, N.H., at a later date.5
