Obituary from Chapman Funerals & Cremations (Bridgewater, Massachusetts):
Jeffrey C. Bezanson of Bridgewater passed away from a brief battle with Cancer in his home peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 25, 2021 at the age of 75.
Jeff was born in Boston and was the son of the late Aleta L. (Flanders) and Peleoman C. Bezanson. Jeff had made his home in Bridgewater for the past 45 years with his Wife Amelia V. Bezanson where they raised 3 children. Carl R. Bezanson of Woodland Hills, CA, Aleta M. Bezanson of Bridgewater and the late Benjie Bezanson. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Jeff dedicated 33 years of his life as a Chef at Brockton Hospital where he made many life-long friendships. He Golfed with the "boys" as often as he could and enjoyed his winters in Venice, Florida with Amelia after his retirement. Anyone who knew our dad knew that his dress clothes would definitely have paint on them, he was the type of guy who would travel to NY for a hotdog. Instead of saying hello, he preferred "Greetings". My dad smiled with his eyes, he could fix anything and he loved his family deeply. When he met our mom in Boston he packed up his VW bus and drove to Guatemala to get her. Dad had many titles. He was a husband, dad, granddad, great granddad, chef, carpenter, friend, listener and our Rock. Jeff had a deep family connection to Martha's Vineyard and will be buried in Chilmark alongside his family.
A Service will be held in the Spring once the Daffodils bloom and the Pinkletinks sing.4
