(?) before 9 May 1910.⁸ Howard Gordon Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 12 September 1918 while living at Kansas City, Missouri.³ On 6 April 1922, Howard Gordon Bezanson pled guilty to a charge of manufacturing liquor and being in possession of liquor. He was sentenced to a $500 fine and six months in jail.⁹ On 13 May 1922, he was paroled and his fine was reduced. A newspaper report implied that he was released early because he had testified against another bootlegger.¹⁰ He married Nell E. Blosser on 6 April 1926 at Jackson County, Missouri.¹¹ Howard Gordon Bezanson died on 9 April 1938 at Proviso Township, Illinois.¹ He was buried in Wichita Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Sedgewick County, Kansas.¹²
