Anthony “Tony B.” Bezanson, 60, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his wife and children December 31, 2017.
Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Michelle Bezanson; daughters, Aarica Burkholder (Jeff) and Jessica Virgili (Brian); sons, Bobby Dexter (Alyssa) and Gabriel Fox (Bambi); and he was Poppy to twelve grandchildren with one on the way.
He was an avid pool player and was passionate about his family. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and Field Supervisor for Integrity Coal.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, from 2 to 3 p.m. The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.5

Carson Taylor Bezanson was born Monday, January 8, 2007 at 4:42 p.m. His perfect little spirit slipped back to heaven at 7:30 p.m. that same night. Born early, 29 weeks with Anencephaly, he showed a great determination to live. Carson brought great joy to his family in that small time and taught us all a little more about love.
Preceded in death by grandmoth-er, Cindy Price; great-grandparents, Carl and Kate Bezanson, and LeBaron Robinson.
Survived by loving parents, Richard and Brittany Bezanson; as well as grandparents, Debra and Wayne Bezanson, Dana Price; great-grandparents, Quinn and Betty Christensen, Carol Ann Robinson; and many other caring family members. We will always love and miss him.
Private graveside services will be held.1

Charles Harris Bezanson was born on 28 September 1877 at Virginia.2,1 He served in the military in the Spanish-American War in 1898.3 He was a railroad switchman in 1900.4 He married Daisy (?).5 Charles Harris Bezanson and Daisy (?) were divorced in January 1910.5 Charles Harris Bezanson married Zola Simmons.6 Charles Harris Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 12 September 1918 while living at 1516 Terry Street, Houston, Texas.7 He died on 9 October 1922 at Madison County, Arkansas, at age 45.8

Zola Simmons was born in June 1894 at Arkansas.4,2 She married Charles Harris Bezanson.2 Zola Simmons became a widow at age 28 upon the death of her husband Charles Harris Bezanson on 9 October 1922 at Madison County, Arkansas.5 Zola Simmons married Alfred Dillon circa 1926 at Franklin County, Arkansas; according to the "age at first marriage" entry in the 1930 census for Alfred. The Arkansas Marriage Index gives the marriage date as 11 July 1936.6,7 Zola Simmons died on 3 May 1991 at age 96.8

Howard Gordon Bezanson was born circa 1881 at Virginia with 3 June 1877 and 3 Jun 1878 reported in other sources.2,1,3 He began military service on 27 April 1899.4 In 1901, during his service in the Phillipines, Howard Gordon Bezanson fell out of touch with his family, who feared him dead.5 He ended military service on 26 April 1902 at Fort Logan, Colorado.4 In 1902, Howard Gordon Bezanson was a witness to a murder and testified at the trial.6 He married Louise May Haas.7 Howard Gordon Bezanson and Louise May Haas were divorced in January 1909.7 Howard Gordon Bezanson married Allie M. (?) before 9 May 1910.8 Howard Gordon Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 12 September 1918 while living at Kansas City, Missouri.3 On 6 April 1922, Howard Gordon Bezanson pled guilty to a charge of manufacturing liquor and being in possession of liquor. He was sentenced to a $500 fine and six months in jail.9 On 13 May 1922, he was paroled and his fine was reduced. A newspaper report implied that he was released early because he had testified against another bootlegger.10 He married Nell E. Blosser on 6 April 1926 at Jackson County, Missouri.11 Howard Gordon Bezanson died on 9 April 1938 at Proviso Township, Illinois.1 He was buried in Wichita Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Sedgewick County, Kansas.12
