Viola Geneva Bezanson was also known as Viola Sawler.3 She was born on 17 June 1913 at Middle River, Nova Scotia.1,4 She appeared on the census of 1921 at Cambridge, Nova Scotia, in the household of Judson Sawler and Mary Lucy Sevilla Bezanson with Dawson Everett Sawler, William Chester Sawler, Bernard Osborne Sawler, Ray Edwin Warden Sawler, Beulah Leona May Sawler and Leona Melissa Bezanson.3 Viola Geneva Bezanson married Baden Powell Brothers Sr. on 1 January 1935 at Berwick, Nova Scotia. She was 21.5,2 Viola Geneva Bezanson died in 1985.4 She was buried in Cambridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Cambridge, Nova Scotia.4 She was born when her mother Leona Melissa Bezanson was young and unmarried and she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Judson Sawler and Mary Lucy Sevilla Bezanson.

BROTHERS, Baden Powell - 85, Cambridge, Kings Co., died March 19, 1996, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born at Delaps Cove, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late John and Georgina (Lawrence) Brothers. He was a lifelong farmer and had been a fisherman. He had been employed with the Department of National Defence at both Camp Aldershot and Greenwood.
Surviving are daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Malcolm Nickerson), Oromocto, N.B; Betty (Mrs. Eric Dickenson), London, Ont; Shirley (Mrs. Cornelius (Casey) DeJonge), Marilyn, Cambridge; Linda (Mrs. Ronald Ennis), Cole Harbour; sons, Baden Jr., Halifax; Stewart, Coldbrook; Raymond, Keith, Cambridge; Wayne, Cole Harbour; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lawrence, Saint John, N.B; Mrs. Ada White, Liverpool; Mrs. Mary Lewis, Annapolis Royal; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Viola Bezanson; son, Phillip; sisters, Evelyn, Rose, Grace, Alice; brothers, John, William, Stewart, James.
