BEZANSON, Dorothy Elizabeth - 72, Coldbrook, Kings County, died June 1, 1994, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville.
Born in West Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (Pinch) Keddy. She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Kentville. She worked in Kentville at various places including the Old Red Store, Marguerite's Dress Shop and, in later years, with MT&T. For several years, she played hostess to the hockey school boys during the summer months and also managed the Country Home Dining Room.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry D; two daughters, Joyce (Mrs. Kenneth Brown), Judy (Mrs. Wayne Baxter); son, Eugene (Buzz), all of Coldbrook; sister, Lexie (Mrs. Hugh Mullane), Bedford; two brothers, Grant, Wallbrook; George, New Minas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Aldon; three sisters, Gladys Hancock, Mildred Pudsey, Leona Duncan. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Home, Kentville, where a memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Judith Gates and Rev. Dr. Freeman Fenerty officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County.2

Eugene A. "Buzz" Bezanson - 69, of New Minas, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Jeremiah "Jerry" and Dorothy (Keddy) Bezanson.
He served with the Military Police and later worked as an insurance investigator for EI. He most recently helped his son at Bezanson Painting and Renovation. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, people and especially spending time with his wife, Linda.
He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Pudsey; his children, Chris (Heather), Alberta; Darren (Lori), Kentville; Kathi Rae Graves (Brian), Port Williams; Scott Robichaud, New Minas; Jo Robichaud, British Columbia; Holly-Lyn Robichaud (Jamie Sawler), New Minas; five grandchildren, Tanisha, Jordan, Jared, Nathaniel and Brandon; two sisters, Joyce (Kenneth) Brown and Judy (Wayne) Baxter, both of Coldbrook; a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Ken) Richert, Kentville; four brothers-in-law, Douglas (Lynn), Lower Sackville; Charles (Colleen), British Columbia; Alex (Kellie), Kentville; Eric, New Minas; many nieces and nephews.
He was a compassionate, kind and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by all who knew him and especially his best friends, Gizmo and Poe.
He was predeceased by a son, Troy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. Burial will take place at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County.2

Kathi Rae (Bezanson) Graves - With broken hearts, we regret to announce the passing of our mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Kathi Rae Graves (Bezanson), on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
She was born in Baden-Baden, Germany, on December 2, 1964. She travelled with her family for the next sixteen years. She settled in the Annapolis Valley, where she attended Kingstec Community College and worked in childcare for many years. She moved to Ontario and gave birth to her son, Nathaniel Hughes. She returned to the Annapolis Valley to raise her son. She then found her supportive and caring partner, Bryan Stuart, with whom she enjoyed the remainder of her life. She loved singing in the Baptist church choir and spending time with her family. Kathi found great joy socializing at the Kentville Legion with her mother, Eleanor.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanor "Ellie" Thomson, New Minas; son, Nathaniel Hughes, Ontario; partner, Bryan Stuart, Canning; brothers, Chris (Heather) Bezanson, Alberta; Darren (Lori) Bezanson, Falmouth; nephews, Jared (Alicia) Bezanson, New Brunswick; Jordan Bezanson, Alberta; and niece, Tanisha (Trevor) Boyd, Windsor.
