Henry B. Bezanson, 87, formerly of 812 Fifth Ave., died Friday evening at the County Home for the Aged.
Born in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Oct. 30, 1875, Mr. Bezanson had heen a resident of Eau Claire for 37 years. For 35 years he was associated with the Stone-Ordean-Wells Wholesale Grocery company, retiring in 1945.
Surviving are three sons, Randall of Eau Claire, Malcolm of Wilmington, Delaware, and Peter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and five grand-children.
Mr. Bezanson was a member of all Masonic bodies and a 33rd degree Mason.
Funeral services will he held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, the Rev. Donald W. Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in be in Forest Hill cemetery.
Friends may call at Stokes and Sons chapel from 3 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday. The casket will not he opened at the church.
Masonic services will he held at the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Another hit - run arrest was made Thursday after a car driven by H. B. Bezanson, 75, of 812 Fifth Ave., collided with a parked car and left the scene, the police records show.
According to the report, Bezanson was maneuvering from a parking space in the 600 block of S. Barstow St at about 3 p.m. when his car struck another listed to Allan D. Hanson, 1700 Menomonie St. Damage totalled $5 to Bezanson's card and $20 to the other, according to police estimates.
