Bezanson.3 He was born on 30 October 1876 at Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.4,5,6,7 Henry Bernard Bezanson's birth date was also reported as 31 October 1878.1 He married Harriett Zwicker in 1911.8 Henry Bernard Bezanson registered for the military service draft on 27 April 1942 while living at 812 5th Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.1 He died on 29 March 1963 at age 86.2,6 He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.9

Henry B. Bezanson, 87, formerly of 812 Fifth Ave., died Friday evening at the County Home for the Aged.
Born in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Oct. 30, 1875, Mr. Bezanson had heen a resident of Eau Claire for 37 years. For 35 years he was associated with the Stone-Ordean-Wells Wholesale Grocery company, retiring in 1945.
Surviving are three sons, Randall of Eau Claire, Malcolm of Wilmington, Delaware, and Peter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and five grand-children.
Mr. Bezanson was a member of all Masonic bodies and a 33rd degree Mason.
Funeral services will he held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, the Rev. Donald W. Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in be in Forest Hill cemetery.
Friends may call at Stokes and Sons chapel from 3 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday. The casket will not he opened at the church.
Masonic services will he held at the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. Sunday.10

MRS HENRY B BEZANSON - Mahone Bay - The death of Mrs Henry B Bezanson occurred at her home in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Thursday, January 16th. She had been in poor health for some time. Mrs Bezanson was the former Miss Harriett Zwicker, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Peter B Zwicker of Mahone Bay, and has resided in Eau Claire for the past 23 years.
She is survived by her husband and three sons, Malcolm of Wilmington, Delaware, Randall B of Eau Claire, and Peter of Cedar Rapids. A sister, Miss Nettie M Zwicker of Mahone Bay, who has been spending the winter months with her sister and family in Eau Claire, and a brother J Malcolm Zwicker of the same place, also survive.
Another sister, Mrs William Mann Tufts of Mahone Bay, passed away six months ago.
The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon, January 18th, at 1:30 o'clock from the First Congregational Church, Rev Maurice Haelen officiating. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery at Eau Claire.2

Benjamin Thomson was born in 1831.1 He married Clara Bezanson circa 21 January 1859.2 Benjamin Thomson became a widower upon the death of his wife Clara Bezanson in 1868.3,4 Benjamin Thomson married Mary Ann (?).4 Benjamin Thomson appears to be living in the household of David Thomson, relationship unknown, in the census of 1901 for Hammond's Plain, Nova Scotia. He died in 1907.4 He was buried in Hammonds Plains Baptist Cemetery, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.4 He outlived two wives and six of eight (known) children. His gravestone inscription reads:

Mary Mercilla Melvin was born on 12 March 1851.2,3 She married James W. Bezanson on 25 December 1873. She was 22.4 Mary Mercilla Melvin became a widow at age 26 upon the death of her husband James W. Bezanson on 15 August 1877.5,6 According to Bezansons from Nova Scotia, "After James' death Mercilla lived Wolfville, then back to H.P. on Bezanson homestead, diagonally opposite the Baptist Church, site now (1989) Raymond Smith."1 Mary Mercilla Melvin died in 1940.2 She was buried in Hammonds Plains Baptist Cemetery, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.2,7
