     Clara May Wood was born on 23 May 1901 at New England Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.1,2 She was a a teacher at Fernald School, Waltham, Massachusetts.3 She was listed as a child when Harry Wood petitioned the court to become a naturalized citizen on 12 December 1923.4 Clara May Wood married Frank Ward in September 1941. She was 40. He was 46. Clara May Wood died on 31 October 1987 at Plymouth, Massachusetts, at age 86.1 She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton, Massachusetts.

     Thora Irene Wood was born on 13 August 1903 at New England Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.1,2 She married Donald Stanley Learnard on 28 April 1923 at Nashua, New Hampshire. She was 19. He was 29.3,4,5 Thora Irene Wood was listed as a child when Harry Wood petitioned the court to become a naturalized citizen on 12 December 1923.6 Thora Irene Wood and Donald Stanley Learnard were divorced in 1951 or 1952.2 Thora Irene Wood married Daniel J. Hehir circa 1953.7,2 Thora Irene Wood died on 20 February 1954 at Arlington, Massachusetts, at age 50.8,9

HEHIR -- In Arlington, Feb. 20, Thora I. (Wood), beloved wife of Daniel J. Hehir, of 56 Wachusett av. Funeral services at the Berglund Funeral Home, 292 Mass. av., Arlington, Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 2 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday and Monday 2-4, 7-9 p.m.8
According to Mary Margaret Cloherty, Thora Irene Wood and Daniel J. Hehir knew each other when they were quite young. Thora first married Donald Learned, but after they divorced, she married Dan. They lived in Belmont or Arlington.7
