MacKAY, Jessie - 89, of Four Mile Brook, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

She is survived by her sons, Harland, Lyman, both of Four Mile Brook; daughters, Vendres (Fred) Bezanson, Plainfield; Lorraine (Hughie) Atkinson, Truro; Darlene Murphy, New Glasgow; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Smith, Isabel Murray and Nettie Cameron.
She was predeceased by her husband, James; sisters, Lillian, Margaret; brothers, Eddie, Lloyd, Russell and Franklin. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 16, from 7-9 p.m. in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John where a family funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Barbara Fotheringham officiating. Burial in West Branch Cemetery.1
