BEZANSON, Marjorie Mary - 79, Beaver Dam, passed away in the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, December 1, 1999.

Born in Woodside, she was the daughter of the late Amanda (Morine) and John Green.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey, Beaver Dam;daughter, Jennette Burke, Dartmouth; son, John (Judy) Bond, West Porter’s Lake; grandchildren,Roger, Dartmouth; Marjorie (Charles), Lawrencetown; stepgranddaughter, Serena, Japan; sister,Stellia Beach, English Mountain; sister-in-law, Cassie Greene, White Rock; brother, Joseph,Hamilton, Ont; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Calvin Bond; brothers, Samuel, Norman, and Cecil in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service 3 p.m. today, in the Chapel of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Interment to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the funeral home.1

     Stanley Vernon Bezanson was born on 1 May 1936. He married Margaret Rose Elizabeth Keddy.1 Stanley Vernon Bezanson died on 9 February 2026 at Kentville, Nova Scotia, at age 89.2

Stanley Vernon Bezanson -- 89, of Forest Home, Kings County, passed away peacefully at Valley Hospice, Kentville, on Monday, February 9th, 2026. Born in Aaldersville, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Percy and Flora (Costley) Bezanson.

Stanley was a hard worker from a very young age. He worked at different jobs including mill work, backhoe operator, truck driver and did various types of mechanical work. He also enjoyed working in the woods and harvesting Christmas trees from his own woodlot for many years. He retired in 1996 after 30 years of driving a cement truck for Maurice's Ready Mix. He was a member of the Alton Baptist Church, North Alton.

He is survived by his loving companion, Mazie Russell, New Minas; children, Paul (Marisa), Centreville; Valerie (Bill) Esford, Ontario; Judy, Dartmouth; Bruce (Carrie), Kentville; Kevin (Lauretta), Forest Home; ten grandchildren: Amanda, Grace, Matthew, Zachary, Jacob, Derek, Carson, Candy, Mariah and Adam; and seven great-grandchildren: Artie, Noah, Jayna, Danika, Jaida, Jazzlyn and Addy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Stanley is also survived by his extended family, Scott (Sherianne) Russell, Forest Home; Shawn (Laurie) Russell, Alberta; and grandchildren, Liam, Katie, MacKenzie and Allison. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Rose Elizabeth (Keddy); sister, Ruby (Keddy); brother, Garnet, and brother Russell, in infancy; granddaughter, Haley; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Rose.

Stanley was always on the go. He loved dances, country and gospel music jams, card games, yard sales, 'four-wheeling' and mowing his lawn, just to name a few.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the staff and volunteers of Valley Hospice for their expert and compassionate care, and for allowing him to be surrounded by love and peace in his final days. This is a precious gift for which his family will be forever grateful.

In keeping with Stanley's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A funeral service with reception will be held at 2p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Greg White officiating. For those unable to attend, a livestream of the service will be available. Inurnment will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County, weather permitting. Family flowers only, by request.2
