Maurice Austin Bezanson, 95 of Berwick, NS passed away peacefully Tuesday November 8, 2016 in the Grand View Manor. Born on March 20, 1921 in Fraxville, Lunenburg County, NS, he was the son of the late William Austin (1891-1972) and May Olive (Barkhouse 1889-1985) Bezanson.
Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He was a retiree of Larsen's Packers Ltd. and a member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church in Auburn.
Maurice is the dear father of his surviving children Maurice (Linda) Bezanson; Sharon (Robert) Ross; Darlene (Tommy) Tan; the cherished grandfather of Frederick "Freddie" (Sandra); Christopher (Melissa Hawkins); Matthew (Alissa Rowter); Johnathan (Ryleigh Amelia Youngchief); Pauline Boudreau mother of Freddie, Christopher, Matthew and Johnathan; Jeremy; Joshua and Benjamin; loving great grandfather of Felicity; Shyan; Brooke; Amelia and Ava; brother to Morley (Jeannie) Bezanson and Betty Anderson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the beloved husband of his late wife Bertha (Kaulbach 1928-1998), dearest brother of the late Leona (Benny) Bennett; the late Ida (Minard) Hiltz; the late Donald (Maxine); the late Merlin (Gwen) Bezanson and the late Allister (Helen) Bezanson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels. A visitation will take place on November 12, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the St. Mary's Anglican Church, 20 Morden Road, Auburn, NS. A Funeral Service will be held on November 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the St. Mary's Anglican Church, with Rev. Mel Malton officiating and reception, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary held in the Annex of the church, to follow.4

BENNETT, Elsie Leone, 89 years, passed away on December 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William Wallace (1989). Cherished mother of James & Judi, Judy Howson, Mark & Barbara, Valerie & William Fox, Doreen & Scott Bowers and the late Gary and Daniel. Mother-in-law of Valerie. Much loved Nanny Bennett of 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Maurice (the late Bertha), Ida (the late Minard) Hiltz, Merlin (the late Jeep), Morley (Jeannie), Betty, Allistair (Helen) and the late Donald Bezanson (Maxine). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to the 7th Floor Nursing Staff and Dr. Aoun at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for all your kindness and compassion as well as the Salvation Army for all your support and visits. Cremation has taken place. A private family service has been held.4
