LANGILLE, Jessie Christine - 83, Three Brooks, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Seafoam, she was a daughter of the late James and Roseanne Gollan. She was a member of Pictou United Church and Unit 4 of the UCW. She was also a 10-year member of the Caribou Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are daughters, Doreen (Mrs. Ernest Corbett), Wilda Landry, Priscilla Corbett, Nellie (Mrs. George Bray), all of Pictou; Marlene (Mrs. Gerald Shaw), River John; Delia Langille, Stellarton; sons, Douglas (Hilda) MacKenzie, Pictou; James (Kathy) Langille, New York; Angus Langille, Toronto; Arnold (Heather) Langille, Oshawa, Ont; brother, Charles, Seafoam; sisters, Iola Gollan, Truro; Lil Schooley, Welland, Ont; Irene Patterson, Toney River; Zelna Johnson, Laura Elliott, both of Melville; 34 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Langille; sons, Stewart; daughter, Diane Manard.

Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. in Pictou United Church, Rev. Gordon MacLean officiating.2
