Lepper. David Tattrie From an 8 page addendum to his Tattrie Family of River John book, Gordon MacKay Haliburton: The Tattries of Londonderry, N.S. Also descended from the second George (1784-1878) and his wife Margaret Mattatall are the Londonderry branch of the Tattries. Their son David Tattrie (1824?1827?--) m. Isabella Leiper/Lepper (1827?1830?-9 April 1922) she is buried at Hillside Cemetery, Londonderry. arid (sic) in 1881 they were living in Middle Londonderry, N.S. At some point they parted company, Mrs. Tattrie went to live with her daughter Amelia and after her death with her grand-daughter Mrs. Myrtle Harvey. Evidently she did not pass on information about her husband's parents and relatives, so her grandchildren grew up in ignorance of them; a letter some years ago from the late Manley Tattrie of North Sydney prompted me (GMH) to help fill in the missing link. I seem to have made some progress but other are at work on the descendants 01. George & Margaret Tattrie and I hope they will make a history worth-while publshing, as I did with the descendants of George's brother Louis some years ago. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- Have seen different dates of birth for David Tattrie son of George Tattrie & Margaret Mattatall. Ranging from either 1810 or 1824-27. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------.
