Robert W. Katt, 64, passed away on April 17, 2015 at his home with his faithful cat, Tigger by his side.

Robert was born May 23, 1950, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late William Patrick Katt and Jean (Rosenauer) Sachs.

He worked as a Data Analyst for Kaman Industrial Tech in Latham for over 25 years.

Robert enjoyed watching movies, loved working on his computer, keeping in touch with his friends and spending time with Johann his youngest grandson.

In addition to his parents Robert was predeceased by his sister, Kitty Katt Kimbell.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Mossman) Katt, he is the cherished father of David (Beth) Meyers, John Card, Amber (Wesley) Machen, William Katt, Laura (Chris) Munn and Michael Katt. He is the brother of Ziggy (Natalie) Katt; he is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens, Colonie.1
