She read her bible every day and throughout her life continued her deep faith in the Lord. She was a perfect host to her many friends and family who frequented her home, always having fresh, delicious baked goods and ensuring that no one ever left without a cup of tea and a smile. Everyone who ever came to visit Ruby was always greeted with her beautiful smile, offered to stay for a wonderful home-cooked meal, and made to feel completely at home. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die. -Mary Elizabeth Frye.2
