     Florence Blanch Millett was born on 23 January 1913 at Wolfville, Nova Scotia.1 She married Roy Eldon Croft on 4 July 1933 at Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She was 20. He was 22.3 Florence Blanch Millett died on 18 April 1997 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, Nova Scotia, at age 84.4,5 She was buried in Gaspereau Cemetery, Gaspereau, Nova Scotia.5

CROFT, Florence Blanche - 84, White Rock, Kings Co., formerly of Greenwich Ridge, died April 18, 1997, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Brown) Millett. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwich Ridge, and for several years had been employed with Acadia University.

Surviving are sons, Douglas, New Minas; Maynard, Greenwich Ridge; Purdy, South Rawdon; daughters, Gloria (Mrs. Gordon Schofield), White Rock; Virginia (Mrs. Wilfred Hughes), June Sharpe, Avonport; brother, Leslie, Canning; sisters, Margaret Coldwell, Viola (Mrs. Morley Joudrey), Gaspereau; Hilda (Mrs. Randy Higgin), Hantsport; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy; daughter, Marguerite; brothers, Merton, Lawson; sisters, Mabel, Gertrude, Mary, Gladys.

Funeral 2 p.m. today in Gaspereau Baptist Church, Rev. Paul Goetze officiating. Burial in Gaspereau Cemetery.4

     Harry Millett's 1946 obituary indicates that his daughter Florence Blanch Millett married someone named "Moricy Jodrey". I cannot find any record of that marriage. Florence married Roy Eldon Croft in 1933 and his 1996 obituary refers to her as his wife.
