BENT, Wilfred Louis - 70, Clarence, Annapolis County, died December 22, 1992, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.
Born in West Paradise, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Fern (Bezanson) Bent. He was a 30-year employee of Acadian Distilleries. He was known worldwide for his handcrafts and was a member of the Society of Workers in Early Arts and Trades and of the Midwestern Tool Association. He was an ardent collector of antiques and tools. As a boy, he worked with his father in the mill and continued woodworking until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Marshall; two sons, Barrie, Wayne, both of Clarence West; daughter, Sheila Coleman, Ship Harbour; six grandchildren; three sisters, Cora (Mrs. Clair Goodwin), Carleton Corner; Phyllis (Mrs. Lawrence Spurr), Melvern Square; Hilda Messenger, Centrelea.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Curtis, Charles, Vernon, Arthur; sister, Grace.
The body is in Robert L. Hall Funeral Home, Bridgetown, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Joy Noble officiating. Cremation will follow.2

She leaves three sisters, Adelaide E. "Eva" Gobeil of Shrewsbury, with whom she lived, Alice M. Shedd of Springfield, Ill., and Edna Mae Bevan of Gardner; nephews and nieces.
She was born in Cambridge, daughter of Henry A. and Amelia D. (Bezanson) Taylor, and lived many years in Three Rivers, N.Y., before moving here several years ago.
Mrs. Jason was a registered nurse. She managed the factory hospital for Carrier Air Conditioning Co. in Syracuse, N.Y., for 26 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of Fairlawn Methodist Church, its Bible Group and Friendship Circle. She was past president of the Industrial Nurses of America.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Howard C. Allen Funeral Home, 653 Main St. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hubbardston. Calling hours at the funeral home are 6 to 8 tonight.1
Her husband, Harry Jason, died in 1964.

She leaves her husband of 43 years, Dr. Robert Rossi; two sons, Paul A. Rossi of Wadhams, N.Y., and Gregory R. Rossi of Boston; a daughter, Dr. Anne R. Rossi of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; her mother, Adelaide (Taylor) Gobeil of Worcester, and a grandson.
She was born in Hubbardston, daughter of Emery Gobeil, and lived here most of her adult life, after growing up in Hubbardston and Worcester. She attended Hubbardston Grammar Schools and Athol High School, and graduated from Worcester Latin High School in 1945. She received a Bachelor in library science from Framingham State College in 1979.
Mrs. Rossi was a librarian at the Leominster Public Library for the past 12 years. She was the City of Leominster's archivist and historian. Previously, she was a librarian at the Harvard Public Library for five years and also was a lab technician at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology. She was a member of St. Anna's Parish in Leominster and was an avid gardener.
