HUBBARDS RESIDENT JOHN PUBLICOVER DIES
PUBLICOVER, John Wesley - 83, Hubbards, died November 7, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Hubbards, he was a son of the late Wesley Publicover and Whilimina (Trueman) (Publicover) Dauphinee. He was employed for many years by the Department of National Defence at RCAF Beaverbank and later with CFB Mill Cove. He was a life-long member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards and a member of the Hubbards Area Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Isabel Bezanson; daughters, Laurie (Mrs. Gregory Mireau), Edmonton, Alta; Carol (Mrs. Donald Webb), Halifax; grandsons, James and John Robert Mireau, Edmonton; Christopher and Peter Wilkes, Halifax; brothers, Fred, Ernest, both of Hubbards.
He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie; brother, Albert.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Rev. J. Eayrs officiating.3
