Russell Eugene Bezanson - 66, of Brooklyn Corner, Kings County, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at home.
Born in the family home on Steadman Road, he was a son of the late Foster and Stella (Steadman) Bezanson. He was retired, spending his working career farming. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Jodrie); two daughters, Sheri and Crystal (son-in-law, Ted Dehmel), all of Brooklyn Corner; two sisters, Phyllis (Cecil) Chase, Aylesford and Edith (Almond - deceased) Best, Coldbrook; two brothers, Eric (Ann), Dartmouth and Donnie (Cindy), Brooklyn Corner; a sister-in-law, Mazine Bezanson, Cambridge; five grandchildren, Allison, Nicole, Kelsey, Kimberly and Melanie and one great grandchild, Mya.
He was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Best (brother-in-law, Sheldon Best); two brothers, James and Elmer. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville.4

BEST, Pauline Margaret - 72, Coldbrook, Kings Co., passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in the family home on Steadman Road, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Foster and Stella (Steadman) Bezanson. She was employed with Scotian Gold for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and square dancing. She also loved watching hummingbirds at the feeder from her deck and feeding her "pet" squirrels.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sheldon; son, Eugene (Barbara) Best, Coldbrook; grandson, Anthony Best, Marion Bridge, Cape Breton; sisters, Phyllis (Cecil) Chase, Aylesford; Edith (Almond) Best, Coldbrook; brothers, Eric (Ann), Dartmouth; Donnie, Elmer, Russell (Sheila), all of Coldbrook; James (Maxine), Cambridge, Kings Co; several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her special dog, Mitzy.
She was predeceased by sister-in-law, Jean Bezanson.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, Rev. Judith Saunders officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings Co.2
