GELDART, Mary Eileen -80, 244 Pictou Rd., Bible Hill, died February 9, 2000, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Otterbrook, Colchester Co., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Bessie (Whalen) Bezanson. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Truro.
Surviving are sons, Lester Bezanson, Ingersol, Ont; Bernard Dean, Whittenburg; Richard Dean, Charlottetown, P.E.I; daughter, Rose Mills, Woodstock, Ont; sisters, Alma Swinimer, Dartmouth; Frances Innis, Marion Bridge; Vera Carter, Freda Carter, Pugwash; Joan McNutt, Karen Grace, Truro Heights; brothers, Ervin, Glenmore; Doug, Meaghers Grant; Harold, New Glasgow; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred Dean, second husband, Ernest Geldart; daughter, Pauline; son, Gordon; sisters, Rosemont, Shirley in infancy; brothers, Willie, Johnny, Lorne.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, both in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, Rev. Clair MacLeod officiating with burial at a later date in St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery, Elderbank.5
