Patricia A. Gavigan was born on 15 February 1949 at Connecticut.1,2 She appeared on the census of 1950 at 180 Elm St, West Haven, Connecticut, in the household of Milton F. Gavigan and Barbera Ann Cameron.1 Patricia A. Gavigan married Michael P. Simeone on 18 May 1968 at West Haven, Connecticut. She was 19.3,4 Patricia A. Gavigan and Michael P. Simeone were divorced in 1983 at New Haven County, Connecticut.5,6 Patricia A. Gavigan married Wesley C. Thomas on 28 July 1984 at West Haven, Connecticut. She was 35.7,8 Patricia A. Gavigan died on 21 June 2014 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, Connecticut, at age 65.9 She was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven, Connecticut.2

HAMDEN -- Patricia Gavigan Thomas, 65, of Hamden, passed away June 21, 2014 at Connecticut Hospice after losing her battle with Ovarian Cancer.
She was born on February 15, 1949, daughter to the late Milton and Barbara Cameron Gavigan. She is also predeceased by her sister Barbara Gavigan Bureau.
She retired from Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist. She then continued to work for Bristol Myers as a Clinical Supply Coordinator.
Patricia most loved spending time with her beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless other valued family members. Her life was also enriched by the love of many wonderful friends who she kept in constant contact with throughout her life. One of the activities Patricia enjoyed most was walking on the Farmington Trail with her friends. She was also a member of the West Haven Irish American Club.
She is survived by her brother, Milton Gavigan (Karen) of Seymour; her sisters, Kathy Haffty (Bruce) of East Haven, Mary Crump (Randy) of Broken Arrow, OK, Lisa Gibson Centore (Carlo) and Jacqueline Gavigan, both of West Haven; her nieces and nephews, Justin Bureau of Branford, Melissa Gavigan of Brooklyn, NY, William Gibson (Jessie) of New Haven, Lauren Lussier (Robert) of Bolton, MA, Kristina Gavigan of Stamford, Sarah Sanderson (Chris) of Shrewsbury, MA, Lindsay Kilgore (Joshua) of Tulsa, OK, Brian Costello of Boston, Casey Crump of Broken Arrow, OK, her step daughters Anneliese Lemay (Tommy), Nicole Thomas, step granddaughter Molly Lemay, all of Concord, NH; many loving cousins, especially Marilyn Nairn, Hal Burns and Doreen Kaminski; and her aunts and uncle, Paul and Matilda Gavigan, Mary Santillo and Betty OBrien.
Her funeral will be from Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 28, 2014 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 600 Jones Hill Road, West Haven. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Connecticut Hospice for the care and comfort they provided to Patricia and her family.9
