It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Coralie Elsie Ripley, 73, of Point de Bute, NB on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, NS, Coralie was a daughter of the late Wendell and Vera (Bezanson) Blades.
A lover of music, Coralie liked to play the guitar for her family and friends. She enjoyed building furniture and woodworking, running a furniture business and antique store in Middle Sackville for many years. She loved crafting and painting and adored making folk art.
Coralie will be dearly missed by her common-law partner of 30 years, Larry Fillmore, Point de Bute, two daughters, Candy (O.J.) Smith, PE and Cathy Ripley, Springhill; two sons, Neil Ripley, Hillsborough, NB; and Zane Ripley, Point de Bute, NB; step-children, Danny Fillmore, Middle Sackville, NB, Nancy Fillmore, Riverview, NB and Kenny Fillmore, BC; eleven grandchildren, Roxy, Dixie, Ashley, Shaun, Dominique, Krystal, Lee, Jacklyn, David, Lucas and Joshua; as well as many loving and caring great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her siblings, Donald, Danny, Bill and Orville Blade, Laura Hunter, Yvonne Moore, and Jean Carter.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Sam and a sister, Debbie, as well as her step-son, Jamie Fillmore.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Coralie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are to be no services at this time.1

Deborah Blades was born on 5 August 1951 at Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.2 She was living at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in August 2014.1 She died on 3 February 2022 at Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, New Brunswick, at age 70.2

Blades, Deborah Ann – 70, Moncton, N.B., formerly of Middleboro, N.S., passed away February 3, 2022, at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton. Born in Upper Musquodoboit she was a daughter of the late Wendell and Vera Mae (Bezanson) Blades-Carter. Deborah had worked at various jobs throughout her career.
She is survived by sons, Calvin Blades and Trevor (Cynthia) Blades. Brothers, William “Bill” (June) Blades, Donald Blades, Samuel (Wanda) Blades, Daniel (Kim) Blades, Orville (Kathleen) Blades; sisters, Jean (Vernon) Carter, Yvonne (Bill) Moore, Carolie (Larry) Ripley, Laura (Dennis) Hunter; step brothers, Wilfred Carter (Maggie), Orland Carter (Debbie). Several grand children.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her step father, Leon Carter, step sisters, Jean Gower and Pansy Crawford.
