HARTT, Basil Alfred - 54, Windsor, Hants Co., passed away Friday, December 5, 1997, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.
Born in Upper Vaughan, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Earl and Lillian (Bezanson) Hartt. Prior to his retirement, he drove a truck for McKay's Western Star with Speedway Express. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to make people laugh.
Surviving are his wife, the former Donna Lillian Lake; daughter, Angela (Mrs. Jeff Hawboldt), Martock; sons, Jeff Hartt, Hantsport; Mark Hartt, Dartmouth; sisters, Dorothy Hartt, Currys Corner; Geraldine Hartt, Milton, Queens Co; grandsons, Dustin and Brandon Hawboldt.
He was predeceased by a sister and a brother in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, from where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upper Vaughan.1
