VENO, Lester Carl - 70, 2556 Gospel Woods Road, Arlington, Kings County, died August 31, 1994, at home.
Born in Farmington, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Bessie (Bezanson) Veno. He was a retired factory worker, having been employed for 38 years with Bulldog Electrical Products Ltd. in Weston, Ont.
He is survived by his wife, the former M. Ruth Bickerton; seven sisters, Viola Whall, Woodville, Kings County; Marguerite Scott, Alice Gray, Virginia (Mrs. Earl Ward), all of Halifax; Mary (Mrs. George Smith), Factorydale, Kings County; Beatrice Bligh, Berwick; Shirley Wilson, Houlton, Me; two brothers, his twin Lincoln, Factorydale; Corey, Brighton, Mich; a godson, Andrew Burgoyne, Coboconk, Ont; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Muriel; brother, Robert. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13 in St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Canning, Rev. Stephen Vail officiating. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery.3
