Betty J. Pelletier, 65, of Braintree, died August 21, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late William A. Pelletier, Sr.

Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Donald A., Sr. & Betty J. (Cooper) Bezanson.

Loving mother of Scott A. Pelletier and his wife Lilly and William A. Pelletier, Jr. Foster mother and friend to Chris Wilbur and Corey Bousquet. Dear sister of Wendy J. Bezanson, Tracy A. Stronach and the late Donald A. "Duffa" Bezanson, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Jade, Amber, Anna, Daniel, Jacob, Nathan and Matthew. Aunt of Joshua Bezanson and his wife Erika, Kristin Bezanson, Robert Bezanson, Colleen Prescott and George Jones. Also survived by her much-loved former daughter-in-law, Mallisa Szabo.

In lieu of services, her family will be going “up country” for a celebration of her love and life. She will rejoin her beloved husband in the ripples of the lake and in the warm mountain breezes they were so enchanted with for many years; finally sharing one last walk up Moose Alley and beyond.1

     Jerry Bezanson was also known as Jerrylee Bezanson.2 He was born on 23 February 1959 at Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.1,2 He married Cyndi (?).2 Jerry Bezanson died on 2 September 2017 at age 58.2

     Obituary from The Chronicle-Herald (Halifax, Nova Scotia), 13 September 2017:
BEZANSON, Jerrylee Age 58 of Davidson, Sask., passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of Stanley and Violet (Reid) Bezanson, Aylesford.

At the age of 15 Jerry left for out West following the old adage 'Go West Young Man, Go West!' He was a butcher by trade and worked in different locations starting in Kingston, N.S., Regina, Sask. and Grande Prairie, Alta. He settled in Davidson, Sask., and opened 'Second Hand Rose Restoration' rebuilding and restoring antique cars. Jerry’s skill for restoring antique cars allowed him to pursue a career as a bodyman and mechanic. The many beautiful cars that he restored were sold all over the world from Nova Scotia to New Zealand.

He is survived by his loving parents, Stanley and Violet (Reid) Bezanson, Aylesford; his daughter, Naomi Bezanson (Mehdi Harraq), Quebec and their children Mouad Harraq and Youssef Harraq; sons, Ricky Bezanson (Crystal), Moncton, N.B. and their children Isaac Bezanson and Peter Bezanson; Trevor Cloutier, Airdrie, Alta; Ryan Cloutier, Calgary, Alta; his wife, Cyndi, Airdrie, Alta; his sister, Lesa Bezanson (David), Truro; brothers, Leonard Bezanson (Heather), Aylesford; Rick (Laurie) Bezanson, East Margaretsville; Robert Bezanson (Suzanne), Brickton; Timothy Bezanson, Melvern Square; Jason Bezanson, Melvern Square, and Joey Bezanson, Springfield.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Ervin and Earle and a brother in infancy.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 15th, in Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke, with Minister Marty Clark-Ettinger officiating.2

Jerry Bezanson

Regrettably Jerry took his life Sept. 2, 2017, with heavy hearts we announce his passing.

Born Feb. 23, 1959 in Middle Musquodoboit, N.S., at age 15 Jerry moved out west. Jerry and Cyndi settled in Davidson, Sask., and opened “Second Hand Rose Restoration,” rebuilding and restoring antique cars. Many beautiful cars that he restored were sold all over the world from Nova Scotia to New Zealand. He is survived by parents Stanley and Violet (Reid) Bezanson, Aylesford, N.S; children: daughter Naomi Harraq and family, Quebec; sons Ricky Bezanson and family, New Brunswick, Trevor Cloutier and Ryan Cloutier, Alberta; his wife Cyndi, Alberta; and seven siblings. Predeceased by three brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jerry at 10:30 a.m., Sept. 23rd, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Moose Jaw, Sask. Interment will take place back home in Nova Scotia.1
