LUNN, Joseph Henry Aged 93 years of High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill, and formerly of New Canaan, Cumberland Co., passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, in High Crest. Born in Falmouth, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Shaw Andrew and Alma Bernice (Bezanson) Lunn.

Joe enjoyed working in his garden, family and friends.

He will be sadly missed by son, Walter (Theresa), New Waterford; daughters, Doris (Carl) White, Springhill and Phyllis (Charles) Wheaton, New Canaan; brother, Lewis of Massachusetts; sisters, Melda Landry, Hantsport, Edith Harnish, Tantallon, Halifax Co; Clara Lunn of Billtown and Ida (Roland) Harvey, Halifax; eight grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jeanette England Priest; sons, Kenneth, Tony, Peter and Paul; brothers, Budd and Raymond; sisters, Edna and Lalliah.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill (902-597-2361). There will no visitation or memorial service. A private family committal service will be held in St. John Anglican Cemetery, Diligent River, at a later date.2

     Ernest Clarence Bezanson was born in September 1904 at Nova Scotia.2 He appeared on the census of 1911 at 6 Queen Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the household of Jane (?) with Mary Ann McNeil, William McNeil, James McNeil, Lillian McNeil and Enos Parker Bezanson.2 Ernest Clarence Bezanson was incarcerated at California State Prison at Folsom for 1st degree robbery on 31 December 1926. The prison identification card describes a previous conviction for automobile theft in Oregon for which he was deported.3 He married Marie Antonette Cardillo on 6 April 1942 at Vancouver, British Columbia. He was 37. She was 26.4,5,6 Ernest Clarence Bezanson died on 7 September 1965 at Vancouver, British Columbia.7,1
