     Calvin Mason was born on 22 October 1866 at Big Tancook Island, Nova Scotia.1 He married Jessie Horn on 31 December 1902 at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He was 36.2 Calvin Mason was a fisherman.3 He died on 2 March 1911 at age 44 when he was washed overboard while working on the schooner Susan and Mary under the command of Capt. Gourley Anderson. The schooner was 45 miles east of Thacher's island when he lost his footing and went overboard. The seas were quite rough and the crew was unable to rescue him.1,4,3

She was 28.2 Estella May Mason died on 12 August 1952 at Foxboro, Massachusetts, at age 81.3,4 The cause of death was bronchopneumonia. She was also suffering from arteriosclerosis and senile psychosis.4 She was buried on 14 August 1952 in Hope's Rest Cemetery, Middleboro, Massachusetts.5
