Born in Maplewood, he was the son of the late Arnold and Lillian (Wentzell) Banks. He was a retired minister and teacher.

He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle (Bezanson).

He was predeceased by a sister, Helen. The body is in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkdale, Rev. Malcolm Beckett officiating. Burial will be in Parkdale-Maplewood Cemetery. (hand written on obit - 1987.)3

Born in Chester Basin, he was a son of the late Milford and Margaret (Gates) Bezanson. He was a member of Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin for over 50 years and was also a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He was a self-employed lumberman and farmer.

Waldo, a very devoted father and grandfather, is survived by his sons, David (Carol Olson) and Arthur (Donna Langille), both of Chester Basin; daughter, Lorna June (Jeffery) Collicutt, Canaan; grandsons, Scott, Kenny, Jeremy, James and Joel; granddaughters, Ashley and Rebecca; niece, Patsy McCauley, and nephew, Raymond Bezanson.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anna June (Frost); sister, Myrtle Banks, and brother, Foster Bezanson.

Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin, Rev. Leo Gallant officiating. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Chester Basin.2

(Lucille) Bezanson, Middle River; sister, Nellie Cook, Stillwater Lake; grandchildren, Donna Wearing, Stephen Countway, Melissa and Michael Bezanson; great-grandchildren, David, Robert and Victoria Wearing, Justin and Michelle Countway; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Justin W; sisters, Ella Mosher, Minnie Cook, Elsie Fleet; brothers, William, Robert, and two in infancy. Respecting Eva's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Lakeview Cemetery, Chester Basin, Rev. Leo Gallant officiating. A reception will follow at Eva's home for family and friends.3
